Have you ever heard a song or a piece of music and it brought you a sense of nostalgia, a feeling of memories past, an unexplained emotion, that happens to me whenever I listing to this song.

This happens to me all the time, especially when I hear anything from the 90's.

Yep, some songs bring up positive memories, others sadly negative ones for me.

Yeah, usually when I hear a song I heard as I kid on my old music player. Because my dad didn't transfer the music from it to my mom's ipod since it already had her music on it when she gave it to me. As far as I know that music player when through 5 people.

Yeah, all the time. Especially when I hear 90s and early 2000s songs, songs my dance studio has used in the past for dances (even some of the classical music), and the songs my mom used to play in the car when I was a kid.

That happens to me, too, even though I'm certain I've never heard the song before. I guess I'm remembering a similar one?

All the time when I listen to Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb. I have a lot of memories attached to that song, some good, some bad.

Madonna's version of the Marvin Gaye's classic song..."I Want You". It was this guy who was really into me and would spend a lot of time at my place. I played this song from a playlist CD that I made and he loved it so much that everytime he came over, he would asked me to put it on repeat. He eventually revealed to me that he had feelings for me but was very confused about expressing his feelings because his family would disown him if they found out that he was in love with another man.

Absolutely. There are certain songs from my childhood that do it. I mean, it's well known science that memories can be bound in our mind more firmly to music than anything except smell. Also I find now any 2015 dance music makes me completely choke up over my crush and all that she has entailed for me this past year. Like, I used to looove that stuff and dancing to it (mostly with her, hence the connection)... and I still do but it makes me want to cry after a bit.
