I think half this list fits me while the other half doesn't lol. I'm not trusting, horny, kinky, or into drugs.

Oh, yes! Short nails are a necessity!

Home Depot (or as I prefer, Lowe's), DIY, power tools, all yes!

    And definitely camping.

Geeky, sure am. Who all plays Pokémon Go?

Let me see, love flannel, boy exercise shorts, I have short hair but growing it out because every time I go out of the restroom at work I see someone give me that look.. <--- where I live... Sigh
Boots, love hiking boots but I currently don't have any but I did buy a cute pair of snow boots this spring! The cut off tee shirts with the sport bras underneath. Wow! Not me but woo hoo. Oh if you need an example, ambers closet on youtube. Check out the frozen T-shirt challenge. I'm going with Hannah Hart also.
Bookworm, I live near the largest lesbian population outside of California! My cat is looking at me right now like Feed me!

It comes from an old joke:

What do lesbians bring to the second date? A Uhaul.

In the US, a Uhaul is a a trailer that you can rent and attach to your car or truck to help you move. The joke is about instant commitment.

Lol, this is such a good thread!

Girls with unnaturally colored hair = lesbian.
Wears a pointer and ring finger ring = lesbian.
Everyone seems to have touched on the majority of them!

I don't fit many of the stereotypes, either.

    Me:
    Femme
    Long hair
Allergic to kitties (doesn't that sceientifically mean I am not lesbian?)
    Dog lover
Finger nails aren't too short, but maybe because I'm single
    Owns one flannel

But I don't wear make up a lot of the time. Wear ray bans (usually wear them to look gayer, not sure why). Wear a lot of blazers. Am artsy. Like to eat gluten free, which seems to be rather lesbian these days along with being a vegan, lol. Also definitely a feminist/civil rights nut.

Haha! This is so true! The butchest, most gay looking woman I know is totally straight. She confuses the heck out of everyone, because she both looks and acts super masculine and people often mistake her for a man. The only actual gay woman I know other than myself doesn't even come close to her levels of radiated gayness. Then there's my hairdresser, a family friend and a ton of other straight women who just completely break my gaydar.

Oh, and how could I have forgotten short nails in my previous post? It's good to be ready at all times...

RosePetals76 and Katchoo, can I join the gay girl geek squad? I haven't played Pokemon Go yet, but it does sound like fun and I might give it a go (hah!) today. Also I am pretty good with computers if that counts for anything.

Can I join too? I could use a lesbian best friend!

It is funny to think about some of these, and how some girls totally break them. I also have known REALLY butch looking girls who are straight, despite what everyone thinks. And TOTAL femme bots who can't even drive straight.

I've also known a butch girl who was "girly" as far as her personality, and a feminine one who was basically just a hairless dude in a skirt....

    Yay, life goal complete!!!!(!)

I'm pretty sure the only reason I think my cousin is gay is because she's very butch. Short hair, mostly wears men's clothes, you name it. No tats though, but she's still young yet.

I love flannel, I've been avoiding it because I have supper short hair, but I gave in a few weeks ago and bought a flannel shirt.

I do love berkenstocks but I havent met a shoe I didn't like. Had the docs with the flowers all over them in the 90s, would like to rebuy a pair.

Cats, people send me memes, had to pretend not to like cats so much for a while because the amount of cat related b-day etc.. gifts were starting to make my room look a little creepy.

    Tools, power tools, saws, CLAMPS!

Who needs uhaul, I have my own trailer.

I feel like a walking stereo type sometimes, only I'm bi, not a lesbian. My dad and I had a rousing conversation about electric hacksaws the other day.

Did anyone mention tattoos? I've heard that tattoos are part of lesbian stereotypes. I've got those too.

Camping - I've not been out long, and I've joined a walking group and a social group. They all seem to be totally obsessed with camping, whereas I hate it.

    Dogs and cats

    Tattoos

    Doc Martens

    Short nails

    Real Ale

    Music festivals

Oh, and thanks to those of you who enlightened me as to what U-hauling means.

Lol, this reminded me of a woman boss I used to have a few years back. She was married to a man but was more butch than any lesbian I'd ever known. She used to smoke roll ups right down to the butt and cup the cig in her hand when she took a drag.
Also once when I was standing at a bus stop she was walking across the other side of the road and a car pulled out on her. She started swearing and giving the driver two fingers in his face!. She also used to whistle really loud and used her fingers to make the sound. Furthermore once she wanted a member of staff to go to round the front of the building and just gestured her to go in by a left move of her head.
Once a friend whos a gay man was talking to a gay lady he knew and she was asking about the boss. She asked who the woman was she was married to and he said no its a man!!. The lady was telling him to get lost etc because she didnt believe him.
We thought that she was really a lesbian who didnt come out for whatever reason, probably a husband and a child might have had something to do with it.
