@Formality I think that's a very reasonable and healthy position to take in general. Society renders individuals a great disservice by putting expectations on how they should be based on their birth and societal status. I mean, if one wants to identify as feminine or masculine, that's okay, of course, but I do think that this should be just that, a personal choice, rather than an external norm you're pressured to meet. If the thread made you uncomfortable, I apologize, by the way.
I guess it's easier to subconsciously make choices based on stereotypes when you see a quiz (like this one) where it's obvious that if you pick the top choice it will weigh in as feminine, the middle one is feminine-masculine, and the bottom is masculine.
I also think it's very easy to spot which one the various answers will be associated with. Thus it makes it easier to choose which one is really you, although it might also work for some in the way you described that one chooses what answers they want to get rather than being honest. Such was not my case, I can say for the record.
I also didn't know what kind of dog I like determines if I'm masculine, neutral, or feminine and the question about "what women need more of" (or something) is sort of sexist so I won't touch that with a 20 foot pole.
@Daydreamer I thought that question seemed quite sexist too, so I just chose something, lol. ---------- Post added 26th Jun 2016 at 03:22 AM ---------- @Night Rain Then it doesn't apply well to you and that's that.
Good masculine-feminine mixture: You are a good mixture. You have a sporty side as well as an artistic side. You are fun to be with and very popular among all and can easily make friends. You are mostly cheerful and if there is something bothering you then you keep it to yourself unless asked. You are very down to earth.Though you may not be the favorite or ideal person among a group you are likable and have a great attitude towards life which makes people forever want to be around you and make you their good friend. You are daring in a way and like challenges which are fun to do.Though you might get a little rude at times you are good at heart.
Eh, I took the quiz anyways just for fun  I got: Good masculine-feminine mixture I do think I'm a mixture of both feminine and masculine. Can't quantify it very well but I'd say I'm kind of a feminine guy, despite having quite a bit of masculinity as well. I actually think androgynous could be the best word to describe it. Though the lines between femininity/androgyny/masculinity are quite blurred and a lot of quizzes I guess tend to stereotype. To be honest no matter what gender you may be, just do whatever you like. Everyone's perceptions of femininity and masculinity are different.
