Nah, Merlin was the greatest wizard of all time. (Funny how we're sitting here talking about these guys as if they were real.)

I wasn't a hatstall. I was definitively Slytherin. I took the test again with a different account (this was when the site had just been launched) just to see if the results would change, and got Slytherin a second time. I'd already identified as a Slytherin so I had absolutely no problems with this.

My American house is Pukwudgie. Wand is Elder/dragon heartstring/12.5 in/Hard flexibility. (Ha, hard wand. Such a juvenile joke.)

Fucking hell, the last thing I needed when having to stock up money for bond and textbooks in the next few weeks was to have my laptop destroyed.

Ah well, what's $1300 anyway?

I hope you don't mind the suggestion, but if you're on a budget you could consider a refurbished laptop. These are often ex-government or bank machines that are pretty much as good as new and some will still be under manufacturer's warranty. Business laptops like Dell, HP or Lenovo are the ones to go for.

Boy I'm stiff. Guess that's a sign that I worked more muscles than I thought.

Whelp, finally decided to establish with my GSA that I'm gay. I wasn't really hiding it but I didn't really have a reason to keep it hidden from them and we were doing self intro's as it was the first meeting of the semester and we had some new people so I figured it was a good enough time to tell everyone there.

Should I get food to distract myself from all the misgendering that's happened this morning or should I do my schoolwork

I've gotten Gryffindor and Slytherin recently, my Ilvermorny has varied between Pukwudgie and Thunderbird (5! 4! 3! 2! 1! THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO!)

And my wand tends to be Cypress word or Cedar wood

    with a phoenix feather core,

14 and a 1/2 inches, surprisingly swishy flexibility.

....I have three accounts, don't judge me.

Patronuses: Dapple grey stallion/ wild boar/ Mastiff/ St. Bernard (I deleted my 3rd account and remade it to take the quiz again :icon_wink).

    *Cypress wood, not word. :eusa_doh:

Today I found out an online friend of mine died a month ago.

He was closeted, gay--I met him because of that fact. And since I was one of the few who knew his "secret", he didn't want me to know much of his personal information (I didn't know his full name, etc.) though I enjoyed talking with him on Yahoo. He abruptly stopped responding, but that's happened before with people I've met online if they became busy with life and lost interest, so I didn't want to bother him. I figured if he wanted to talk to me again, he would.

Today, however, I got curious, Googled his Yahoo username, and found his obituary :frowning2: And since his death was described as "sudden" and no more detail was given, you wonder about suicide. I'll probably never know. It's a strange feeling, that's for sure.

Brent Musberger is retiring from broadcasting. Good riddance! He should have left years ago.

What I am thinking about is how is it that people on Facebook who are from other countries such as the Philippines, Hong Kong, etc. can give opinions about the Trump presidency and how Americans should change their reactions/attitudes in regards to him and the election. I personally feel that because they do not live in the United States and does not deal first hand with his antics and lies as we do. Then what gives you the right to tell us or say how we should act or react? When I see postings about their country leaders and how some of them have issues with their candidacy...I do not respond at all because first of all...I do not know anything about their country politics and if I did...I still would not respond because I do not live there to give an appropriate response. Furthermore, when these people post their opinions...many times there information is incorrect or inaccurate which makes matters even worse. Therefore, I think they should mind their business and worry about their own country politics instead worrying about ours with false information.

I like how people from Canada, Sweden, Japan, and other places comment on how they fear foe the future of the world because of a Trump presidency. Because at least they understand how interconnected each country is to the other.

Having problems at home. I wish I would be able to move out of my parent's house. They say they failed parenting and they think that I wouldn't do anything if it wouldn't give any money.

I believe they don't realise how hurtfull this is to me :frowning2:
