Man this online dating thing is way less scary than I thought. I mean. I haven't gotten any dates and I don't think I ever will but it's not as bad as I thought.

The site I'm using has a very easy layout and is super easy to use. I like it.

In the second presidential debate, it's interesting to see how questions and attacks do not get addressed accurately often, not only by Trump, but most certainly also by Clinton. Hillary doesn't seem to addressing the accusations properly, a shame. Instead, she works a way around it and distracts from the issues. Probably because there is no proper response often..

It's interesting to watch though. I'm still watching it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

That popular gay dating app I downloaded tentatively is most definitely not a dating app.

I'm so bored at my job. I feel like this constant routine is making my life speed by. I want excitement.

It's weird that I am more nervous of social situations than I am of racing downhill on icy slopes at over 100 km/h on skiis. It just doesn't make sense in my mind but I cannot help that I get so nervous about social situations. I hate it. I really do hate this part of my personality.

These irrational fears I don't understand them :icon_sad: You'd think that being aware of how irrational they are would make them disappear but nope.

Holy shit. I've found a girl who seems to like me. We went on a date and there's probably a second one in order. She's one of the most attractive people I've ever met. A total hippie who loves music.

I'm really hoping I don't mess this up.

One of my students wants to start an LGBT club but is worried about the backlash from parents. I wish I could do more for her. I encouraged her to not be afraid and that I would support her in starting up the club. Luckily, my school and district is very liberal and super supportive of LGBT people but I completely understand her fears. Coming out can be scary but I admire those that are brave enough to do so. I know I'm still not there yet.

My hairline seems to be receding/I might be balding. I am only 25. And I thought Native Americans didn't suffer from male pattern baldness (seems I got fucked with the white gene).

At the risk of starting drama, I ended up sending a categorical list of text screenshots to a friend. The texts were from my (cheating) ex, who has dramatically revised his story and doesn't seem to want to stop trying to bring it up with others to justify himself even though I told him to leave me be and I'd not spread it.

Amazing how silly you must be to give one story ("I was careless and made a mistake but didn't do anything physical because I care so much") at the time via text, only to change it a few months later to "we weren't really dating and I was just humouring him not to hurt him because he's really emotional", which would be humiliating and hard to disprove if I didn't have paragraphs of grovelling texts to show for his attitude at the time.

Stunningly intelligent moves from him, there, to tell one of my best friends without realising that we're friends or that he didn't have any record to correct if he had just stuck to his original story and left it in peace.

Gay people hate each other more than religious folks hate them. Oh the irony.
