Well, yeah. The noise of the alarm used to frighten me, but I've built up an immunity over the years. But, anyway, the "Fire Drill" function activates the alarm without sending a signal to the alarm company. The auxiliary functions still activate, though (fire doors still close automatically, smoke dampers in the ducts still shut, elevators still recall to ground floor and disable themselves).

Yes indeed, I have checked it out. Oh, I have no clue if my school does that. We don't have elevators though.

Does your school have multiple stories?

Also, does your school have metal doors that close automatically when the alarm goes off?

Holy shit. No, we're a small town with a small budget that we blow on iPads. We even have to share the high school building with middle schoolers. I'm guessing people get lost in your school?

No. It's a pretty logical layout. First floor has the offices, cafeteria, commons, math hall, foreign language hall (which also contains the special ed department, staff lounge, and print shop), art rooms, and auditorium. The second floor has the library, English hall, and History hall. The third floor has the science hall. The athletics complex (West Gym, East Gym, locker rooms, wrestling room, weight room, dance room, etc.) is a separate building.

Holyyyyyy moly guacamole, your school sounds awesome. What are 'halls'? Also, you even have a dance room? What are the commons?

Halls are hallways. The commons is this large, high ceilinged hallway that serves to connect the various hallways and other spaces.

Of course our school's awesome. It's so new! (finished in 2005)

Aw man your school sounds like it's huge. Ours opened in 1958, I bet it's like 1/3 of the size of your school.

Lol. The original building was from 1951, but from 2002-2005, they replaced it with the current building. The East Gym and weight room are from 1962, though.

I am terrified of insects and spiders, and Biological and Chemical warfare. Insects and spiders are self explanatory, but there is only a couple of laws in the Geneva convention that protects us from Bio and Chem warfare. If a country was desperate, we could all be dead in one of the most quickly spreading and painful ways possible.

After the Doctor Who episode with the Vashta Nerada, I am quite scared of the dark. I am also terrified of the paranormal even though I don't believe in ghosts; sometimes when it's dark or I'm alone I just imagine that something could jump out at me any second...I'm also a hypochondriac and I am constantly terrified that I have cancer, even though I don't. Like, if I get a simple headache or a bruise, it sends me into a panic attack:tears::eusa_doh:

Daddy long-leg spiders (and bigger spiders in general), public speaking and swimming in lakes/oceans because I can't see the bottom.

Yes. We have lots of sports teams (for example, we've got football, baseball, softball, basketball, lacrosse, swim, water polo, tennis, golf, etc.) all of which are among the best in the state. Most of the teams have won a state championship at least once.

Social phobia. I hate crowded places and don't get me started about talking to people at functions, parties, etc. I freak out on the inside.
