    Way left socially. Center-left economically.

Left. Depends on what you compare it to. In Sweden I'd consider myself right leaning, but in accordance to american politics I am further to the left than Bernie Sanders. It is funny that he is called "leftist", but if you look at swedish politics, all parties here are as or more left leaning than him on economic issues.

I've drifted further and further to the center as I've become more and more of a pragmatist over the six yesrs now that I've followed politics. I'm a Democrat, but my party is leaving me behind.

Left wing (American). I'd say I'm very, very liberal when it comes to social stuff, a little more moderate when it comes to fiscal policies (but still left-leaning).

I feel the exact same way. I'll always vote Democrat though, never Republican. If anything, simply because they are so against us as LGBT people. It may be a small part of us, but at the same time it is a large part, especially when it comes to our rights and being equal under the law, which they would like to take away and work against. As far as I can see, the Republicans will always be on the wrong side when it comes to that issue. That being said, I do agree with some Republican views on other issues, but not enough to ever vote for one.

Well, I work for a Republican member of the U.S. Senate.

That should give a clue about my political views...

I consider myself a social-democrat on a worldwide scale, which would put me around centre-left, but in US terms I'm a "dirty leftist" according to both self-proclaimed conservatives and even some self-proclaimed liberals. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I said I was more center before taking the quiz, but it looks like I am slightly left-leaning.
I can also say that my stances on all topics besides economic policy (which I don't understand, don't care about, and find boring as balls) are stances I believe to be correct, and a country that bowed to my opinions on these subjects would be happier than the U.S.

I'm not a member of any political party and don't intend on becoming one - but I voted Labour in the General Elections last year. I'll continue voting for them, because I have very little respect for the Conservative Party in its current form.

I don't love the idea of idealogies. I look at each issue individually and evaluate it.

I'm a conservative libertarian, so I'm really far right economically. Social I'm not really right or left because they both want too much government control (e.g. laws, gun control)

my mum is left wing whereas my dad is more right wing but i grew up with my mum teaching me about it and when i finally learnt about it in school i made my own decision that i would also be left wing and she is part of a group that have not too extreme views.

I would be considered a center populist(libertarian) by U.S. standards. However, I guess I would be considered right leaning as far as this board is concerned and right by world standards. I tend to embrace more anti-establishment candidates. In more recent years, I have viewed Ross Perot, Ron Paul, and Bernie Sanders as more favorable to the other choices. In this election, I did end up voting for John Kasich as more of an "anybody but Trump" measure. In short, I vote against tyranny whether it be left or right.

Well you need two wings to fly...

I'd say I'm pretty much on the fence. That way you can see what's growing in both gardens.
