    It's phoque, actually.

My geography teacher said he once went to an aquarium in the States and his 3 and 4 years old children started screaming : ''Les phoques! Go, on va voir les phoques!'' (The seals! Let's go see the seals!)

Everybody looked at him with a disapproving look because it looked like his young kids were swearing like sailors xD

This is the sort of thing that would get the people in my French class rolling around on the floor laughing.

Embarasado in Spanish means pregnant, not embarrassed. I heard a story from someone where someone they knew was dating a guy, arrived at his house for dinner late, and tried speaking Spanish for his latina grandmother, saying "Soy embarasado!" So she freaked out.

Might be why people say "excuse my French"
That was what my French teacher told me years ago anyway

I always hated the company French Connection UK because I'm sure they did it so their letters would be FCUK and be "edgy."

A word in Spanish that has no real English meaning is "empalagar". It's supposed to mean that feeling you get when you've eaten way too much candy/junk food.
