    The only hope was Sanders.

Now our choice is a slow death ( Clinton/any other politician ) or going out in a blaze of glory with full fire works ( Trump )

What i really don't understand why people are voting for her? Why people are so blind and can't see what she represents.

Also, these superdelegates.... they should be removed from the election process. What do you guys think?

The superdelegates are just another way to make voting as non-democratic as possible.

Some countries in Europe have free education and free healthcare. Obviously, it is not free! Do you Europeans fight over how much taxes they are being charged?

    ---------- Post added 20th Apr 2016 at 05:55 PM ----------

That really pisses me off! :tantrum:
We people need to come together and fight these systems put in my these snake politicians. Today's society sucks, there is no sense of community anymore. (I only see that in more higher income communities) People just dont talk to each other that much! People are just to busy to know what these snakes are up to.

I live in Sweden where we have "free" healthcare and education. Our taxes are really high at up towards 60%, but you never really notice any uproar over it. Most people seem satisfied with the quality of life here. Everybody can educate themselves without going 100k dollars into debt, we can have children and seek medical care without any fear of personal bankruptcy and those less fortunate gets lots of help from the state to remain on their feet.

The result is a happy, healthy and well educated population which tends to pay in the long run whereas the USA's way of making as much money off of its population as possible only helps in the short run.

See people hear that and they freak. I personally feel we should follow the European model on alot of issues. For example, i saw that in Estonia you can vote online. Here some states make it inconvenient to vote. And even if we do vote, we have those superdelegates basically picking and choosing the winner.

Are you sure? Paul Ryan made a pretty clear statement that he doesn't want to seek the nomination.

He released a campaign video and flipped on the issue that cost Romney the election. Seemed to me like he was setting himself up for it. I could be wrong. Either way, they don't want Trump.

It's because your people was told for generations that if you do anything socialistic, you're a communist. So Americans, especially older generations, will think that heading towards more socialism immediately means you'll turn into Soviet Russia.

One should not believe what a politician says.

The Republican establishment does not want a Trump or Cruz so it wouldn't surprise me that Paul Ryan or Kasich get the nomination in a brokered convention.

I know!! Its frustating! Some folks are just so tied down to their culture and beliefs. Or the big one, religion!! That they are not even open to discuss new ideas.

Of course its after I turn into a legal adult that the US starts approaching what seems like an ultimate demise.

I really wish I could've voted in the primary for my state, but I didn't register to vote soon enough. I plan on registering soon so I can vote in the election, but...not looking good.

Sanders was my pick. And now...yikes...

Its important to vote for your state representatives also! Research them and make a choice. This country is screwed up bc we dont vote. We are simply not involved and we need to be bc we are getting a shitty deal!

This isn't going to be a popular opinion, but it's going to be said.

This race is over. The position Bernie Sanders is in is akin to being down by four touchdowns with two minutes left in the game. It's not officially over, but the deficit you're facing is officially insurmountable. It's time for the Democratic Party to unite and march forward toward a Democratic victory in 2016. Unfortunately some of the hardline Sanders supporters would actually rather see Donald Trump or Ted Cruz win the election now that Mrs. Clinton has pretty much sealed the nomination, and there are a few of them on this site.

I say to them this: The Supreme Court is split 4-4 right now, and the trend of disastrous rulings has been reversed for the moment. Do you really want Ted Cruz or Donald Trump appointing someone even more crooked, more partisan, more evil than Antonin Scalia to the Supreme Court? Do you really want an extremist Republican President who will be a rubber stamp for an even more extreme Congress?

The fact is that the stakes in this election are far too high for any Democrat to sit home. The objectives Mr. Sanders seeks for the country can't be remedied with one election. But if we keep the Presidency and get a liberal justice confirmed to the Supreme Court (Which we will if we take back the Senate), we can restore the Voting Rights Act, end gerrymandering and undo Citizens United. And yes, we could potentially even overturn the anti-gay laws passed in Indiana and North Carolina.

The stakes are far too high for any Democrat to sit home and pout because Bernie Sanders didn't win the nomination. We can and will win this election if we have full unity from all Democrats. The alternative is just unacceptable.

I will serve again if there really is a threat!
These people are quick to send troops in harms way very easily and thats another issue that has to be dealt with! My little brother just came back from Africa, he saw a little bit of action and now he's drinking alot more. Why? Why are we in Africa? Its resources?? SMDH

We aren't getting a liberal justice no matter what. Our best hope at this point is getting a center-right justice.

Do you think for even a second honestly that Clinton will put someone in the Supreme court who will even consider doing any of those things? I hope you don't seriously think that, she won't. She gets paid too much money from Wall Street to ever do that.

I don't think there's a politician on earth who isn't getting money shoved down their throat by Wallstreet. Clinton is definitely a more extreme example than usual, but I really don't think it makes a difference.

    Bernie Sanders!

He released his taxes and he made i believe 205K last year. He also lives in a home that cost him 300K.
