Hi there! I've always loved the idea of getting to know someone from a different country and learn about where they are from. I'm from rural, northern Scotland and live nearby a lot of cool, tourist places Anyone willing to share where they are from?
Well, I'm from Austria, I don't think I have to get more specific because Austria's really small anyway - plus most people don't know it and just confuse it with Australia
The really conservative part of Canada lol. I have friends all over the world, it's awesome getting to hear about their countries and cultures!
Auckland, New Zealand, though there are so many people of Scots descent here that you might not consider it to be foreign ;-)
Awww thats awesome! My Uncle, Aunt and cousins live in Rolleston just outside Christchurch. I've been to the south island of NZ but never the north. Nelson is the farthest north I have been! ---------- Post added 5th Mar 2016 at 12:37 PM ---------- Awesome I am going to Vienna and Salzburg in summer with my boyfriend. Looks like a cool place ---------- Post added 5th Mar 2016 at 12:38 PM ---------- Really? I always thought Canada was super liberal?
Well, I'm from Australia. I don't think I need to get more specific because Australia's really big anyway - plus CNN newsreaders just confuse it with Austria anyway Really want to know how they are going to build that fence.....
I'm Chilean. We're mostly in the end of the world lol but it's not too cold where I live luckily. I'm gonna move Japan when I turn 18 though
I live in Marlborough, New Zealand. Not gonna say exactly where cause it's such a smallish place where I live. There's pretty much just vineyards, vineyards, and vineyards as far as the eye can see.
Well I've always felt a connection to there. I-I don't know. -Really good economy -Easier to find cheap good mangas -Anime on tv?? OMG -Beautiful language -Culture thinks as I do (one-forever friend, double negative=positive, etc) -Safer, no risk of some weirdo targeting trans/enby people -easy to be gender neutral -Warm toilets (?) That's what I can think for now lol
I'm from Pennsylvania in the USA. I like the city I live in but I hope to be able to travel cross-country when I'm older. Nature and sight-seeing are my passions! Hello fellow Cody, by the way. ^_^
I'm from Colombia (NOT COLUMBIA!). It is a nice place to live in, with nature and all that, except for the people, specially the politics.
I'm from England, which is technically a different country but I'm suspicious you were thinking of somewhere a bit further away
I'm from Jersey, that lovely island between the UK and France where people - Jimmy Carr - used to avoid tax and there's an ongoing historical abuse enquiry (kind of like the UK in that respect). We also have a rich history, just saying
Awesome. I've been to Nelson which I think is close by? ---------- Post added 5th Mar 2016 at 03:48 PM ---------- Haha no England is cool. I have been to Leeds though! Went there when I was 16 to go to the Leeds festival. Seemed like a nice enough place ---------- Post added 5th Mar 2016 at 03:49 PM ---------- Thats really cool. Cody is just the name I used on here for alliteration with Converse (my fav brand). My actual name is Rory
Thats somewhere I would love to visit! A weird question but are you guys bi-lingual being so close to France? ---------- Post added 5th Mar 2016 at 03:52 PM ---------- Cool I'd love to visit Canada I have a friend at uni who is from Quebec and she brings us back big bottles of maple syrup (which by the way is really expensive here), and fancy toothpaste for my boyfriend who is a dentist
