Accidentally clicked on Trump. So consider it a -1 since I can't seem to undo it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I only want to see him President - the rest are nowhere near as fascinating as he is.

I think if you ask the mods they can undo it.

But who would you LEAST () like to see as President? You must have a least favourite?

I think Cruz will be more dangerous than Trump personally, though trusting either with a country is an accident waiting to happen.

    My mind was elsewhere :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
    Meh, I'll take a gander. The bible-banger / a.k.a Cruz.

Reasons: too many to list, but the short version relates to LGBT and other minority rights, he's the manly version of Kim Davis, is too overzealous with Christianity and comes across as a complete fraud.

I do enjoy his quality entertainment though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJaldOWDVxo

I can't really decide... it's a tie between Trump and Bernie.

Hillary, because I find her to be a vile, corrupt woman who I think wants to turn America into a police state.

Clinton because she is so fake that I cannot stand it. 4-8 years of her in presidency would be hell.

I will admit that I don't know all the candidates all too well (I'm not in the US, after all).

However, I voted Trump. His opinions are dangerous. I would not like any republican to be in either. They're all bad if you ask me.

Trump followed extremely closely by Cruz. Both have dangerous views and the idea of either of these men holding power is incredibly alarming. Far from protecting American interests they would put the nation at greater risk.

I can say that there's only one candidate in which I'd be committed to leaving the United States after college if they were to win the election, and that's Trump. I think he would make America very unsafe and would alienate many of our allies. Cruz is a close second, but I think he would be a more legitimate President than Trump.

All republicans. They would set the transgender rights progress back 10 years and probably undo anything Obamas terms did.

Also most republicans are interested in war and big money and making the rich richer and telling the middle class who to fear and why.

And if I HAD to have a Republican win... I'm sad to say it's actually Jeb I'd rather see win. He seems like the least idiotic of the bushes.

I shudder at the thought of any Republican winning. Possible exception: Kasich, although I don't like him. I just view him as better than the others in his party.

I especially shudder at the thought of Trump or Cruz winning.

But...given that this poll has only one choice, I'll go with Trump. Cruz scares me, particularly for LGBT issues. But Trump scares me because I think our relations with other nations would suffer. And I really don't think he's in the least bit qualified for the job. President is not an entry level political position.

This last thought brings up an interesting point, though. If he wins the nomination, it'll be interesting to see what Republicans say about his qualification. As I recall, they were screaming their heads off about Obama not being qualified for the job. I have a funny feeling, though, that we won't hear a single complaint about Trump.

    I don't like anybody. They're all extremists.

Bernie seems like a great guy, but he's a socialist and there's plenty of evidence and examples of why his ideas either won't work, or will hurt us in the long run.

Hilary is so fake. She flip flops and while I understand that people can change their mind, this close to an election that doesn't fly.

The republicans: I wish that the republicans would stop focusing on social issues and worry more about foreign affairs, how to get the country out of debt, and so on. Instead all of them are extremists that don't really reflect the sane half of the republican party. None of them are very good people in my opinion.

    Unfortunately, he's no longer running.

And yes, he seems less idiotic than his brother.

And he was probably better than just about everyone running this time. Unfortunately, he's probably too moderate to have had much of a chance--his party is now under the control of the crazy conservatives, or so it would appear.

Since I could pick only one, I had to mark Cruz, since I don't believe Donald Trump believes half of what he says; whereas I believe Cruz does. Sad, sad reality that that was the deciding factor.

I agree with those who say trusting either with a country is a disaster waiting to happen.
