Well, thanks! :icon_wink Playing Halo actually got me through a really hard time in my life - I was very ill during my teenage years and I got a great sense of escapism, and later community, from the Halo series. I'm going to move this thread over to the Technology, Gaming, Soft-& Hardware section, as it's essentially a "what's you're favourite game?" thread.
I'm more of a casual gamer. My favorite game is Undertale (obviously from my avatar) and I also like Minecraft and Osu!
Halo was one of the first games i ever played on my xbox along with forza and i have almost all the halo games now so mine is definitely halo. Although it does compete with cooking mama which i know at my age is a little sad but it just brings so many childhood memories. So i guess i am actually saying it is a mix between halo and cooking mama.
The first time I tried to play Halo I kept falling off a cliff. I gave up on it after about five minutes. I'm going to try again at some point though I have a couple of the 360 Halo games in my enormous backlog, but haven't really played them much. RPGs are my favorite genre as well, though I do play other things and even a few shooters. Right now I'm mostly playing Rocket League and I recently started a replay of all the Final Fantasy Games. FF VI is still my favorite.
Usually, I can't pick a favorite, but there are two games that stick out so much and those two are Okami and Journey.
my favourite game franchise is Legend of Zelda, and my favourite zelda game is Wind Waker HD. My favourite console is the WiiU. I do agree that the game library is quite limited, but the console is great (HD graphics+the beautiful landscapes and colours of many nintendo games=a gift from the gods) and the controller is really good to hold, compared to the 'normal' controllers, which i've always had some problems with. other faves on the WiiU alongside WWHD are Pikmin 3 and Splatoon. of course i own a 3DS too. my favourite games on the system are Fantasy Life and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. when i was a kid, i was a huge fan of the Professor Layton games. i should really replay them sometime! i used to only play nintendo games until about a year ago, when my sister bought Goat Simulator and we had to make a steam account to play it :"D my favourite games on the PC are Don't Starve, The Stanley Parable and Undertale. currently i'm playing Papers Please, and waiting for SUPERHOT. i would be playing Don't Starve too, but my comp is pretty close to the end of its' life and can't even run it anymore because of the huge, randomized overworld :^|
Dude, I'm god-awful at Halo, or any FPS really. But I have a fun time playing! And that's what video games are all about. Enjoying yourself.
At this time, I dedicate most of my gaming time in League of Legends. It's a great game, but it isnt really my favorite. Pokemon Emerald is my favorite game. Left4Dead is a runner up.
I don't really consider myself much of a gamer anymore. I stopped following current gaming years ago, because I couldn't afford it/was sickened by the amount of greed and low-quality half-assed games coming out. Get me something from the 20th century and I'm guaranteed to prefer it over anything else, though these days I want to be the one who makes the game, not the one who plays it.
I play a lot of Fps games and I am a fan of the call of duty series up to Black Ops 2. My favourite COD game is Modern Warfare 3 ( a controversial choice I know), closely followed by COD World at War. But my favourite game of all time would have to be Garry's Mod, it is an amazing game and the possibilities are endless. I also really enjoyed playing the Elder Scrolls series as well as Halo 3 and Halo Reach, I never really got into Halo 4 as much.
My favourite game would proooobably have to be Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. <== This one game alone proved I have absolutely no life, with the time I spent on it. (Around 100 hours in a single month, then finally did a speedrun. That was fun, I guess.) If not that game, Donkey Kong Country 3 would be a close second. Although the last time I completed that was like, 7-8 years ago. Maybe less. My favourite games used to be Super Mario Galaxy 2 & Super Mario World. All the Marios. .....Luigi>Mario To be quite honest, DBXenoverse is also a game I like a lot. Not my kinda DBZ game, but I still like it a lot. I'm not a big CoD fan and never played Halo or Counterstrike in general, and the only games with guns and stuff I do like is probably GTA V. And GTA SA.
