I watched this, really cute, but aren't people supposed to clap when someone proposes? [I'm actually asking because I got this from TV and if I do this when someone proposes in RL and it's not acceptable then I wouldn't want to ruin their moment.]
Yeah, I think you're right. But on the other hand they were recording a tv program at the time (that's why you see a huge camera in their faces, lol). Maybe they wanted people to be quiet? Also, you know.. they're gay so not everyone will be comfortable with it, sadly
I was wondering this, too. And this is not just a TV thing. My dad proposed to my mom in an airport (because he figured if the plane crashed and they died, they might as well be engaged) and everyone clapped for them.
I know. But it didn't look like the people around paid much attention? Could be that they simply didn't notice? Also.. could be some homophobes there who tried to ignore it.
