    Hi fellow trans*guys,

I was wondering how you deal with your penguin, I alrays get major dysphoria, it gets so bad I don't want to leave the house. I have already tried putting my penguin in a cage and starving it, but it didn't help.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

By having a tremendous pity party, hot shower, lots of junk food, and video games.

    Another thing:

You could also try switching to tampons, if you use pads. When I did this, dysphoria dramatically decreased during hell week. Less mess and disgusting reminders of what's going on.

Other methods which have been known to provide relief are:
    -working out
-distracting yourself (as with aforementioned activities)
-take over the counter meds such as acetaminophen or ibuprofren
-get on birth control to stop your cycle

Also, you can try drinking raspberry leaf tea as well as a *ginger tonic.

    *Ginger tonic
    3 slices fresh ginger
    1 cup boiling water
    2-3 tsp brown sugar
~steep for 3 minutes and drink

To bleed like this, you are far tougher and more manly than any other cis-guy who hasn't dealt with the horror of penguins. Just get through it one day at a time.

Wait, sry if this doesn't have anything to do with the topic, but I've got a question. English is not my first language, so did you make up the word 'penguin' for describing that time of the month or is it in common use in the English language?
found your description really funny even though i do realize there's nothing funny about the 'penguin thing' at all haha, i feel with you

I'm actually dealing with it right now..... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: :frowning2:
So what I usually do is just complain a lot like "OMG by back HURTS SOOII MUCH" all the time so I focus on the physical pain to black the psychological discomfort
