I am thinking about what would happen if someone needed a fire extinguisher that has been sitting in the corner for years and when they need it the bloody thing doesn't work.

    Soooooooo funny story.
We used our fire extinguisher when our yard caught fire one hot summer day. Fast forward three years and lightening struck right out the apartment, causing an electrical fire behind the washer.....and the extinguisher was empty.

I speak fluent Spanish so for me "Nevada" can also mean "snowfall" and so I pronounce the name both ways, depending on my mood: one basically sounds like a gringo saying "nevada" and the other assumes "Nevada" is of English origin and uses the convention of English pronunciation. I'm all over the place.

But, I also do murder a few other states' names:

    Massachusetts: mass-choo-sets

    Oregon: ore (like mineral ore)-gun

Washington: wa(r) shington -very slight r added after Wa-

Stuck in the middle of writing another poem.... as if I haven't enough already. If nothing else, maybe this continuing to happen will motivate me to join a writing/poetry group, or take some step to get out of these writer's blocks.

Generally I've avoided it so far because I didn't want to attend with the primary goal of "meeting new people" [which hasn't worked out in the past.]

Oh dear, you may wish to inform her you are doing nothing of the like, but instead say something like "I just wanted to know so I know the size to look for next time we go shopping. Aren't you happy I'm being a bit more independent?" I'm planning on using this trick. ^-^ Good luck!

I wish that 'Bowie' could be one of the moods; good or bad, it seems a fair way to describe how I'm feeling most of the time these days.

I really do wonder what goes on in these people's minds. They are the type of people that could be directly responsible for an up and coming artist loosing their arms and would feel no guilt. Might even think that's what was best for the artist, as though they would have a clue. They would ask the injured artist why they no longer paint or sculpt anymore, all while ignoring their own culpability in the matter and the fact that the artist no longer has arms or hands--because, you know, it happened so, so long ago (i.e. a year or so). They would then suggest to the now pissed and injured artist that they use their feet to paint because they would like another (free) painting. When the artist flips a lid at this point, it would be viewed as odd and unruly behavior by these people. Like, really, what's the big deal? Ah, the minds of sociopaths.

That makes two of us. I've been having the weirdest dreams. All seem to have to do with me escaping. On a motorized bigwheel. Must be a psychological response to feeling trapped.

I think I have a ear infection. It feels like there is pressure/water in my left ear. It's really strange. I don't feel sick though.

95% of my thoughts are about what it would be like to have a boyfriend. Right now, I'm thinking about how cute it would be for a guy to take care of me If I get sick. If that means I'm a hopeless romantic...I don't care.

My therapist told me today that she wants me to "have more friends before I sign off on any paperwork to move forward with your transition". Really? More friends? How is this even related to being trans? I'm fine with the few friends I have. Thanks though.
