    One of my friends introduced me to numerology and I was wondering if anyone else had ever looked into it~

    To find your life number, just take your birthday and add up the numbers like this...

    My birthday is April 1st, 1987, so~

    April = 4 (4 is a single digit number)

    01 = 1 (1 is a single digit)

    1987 1+9+8+7 = 25.... 2 + 5 = 7 (25 is not a single digit, so add them together)

    4 + 1 + 7 = 12.... (make a single digit) 1+2 = 3

    It's a little confusing, so you can use a calculator like this one which will also tell you the traits of your number ^.^

    I just did this last night and I got number 7 ^.^ The report was hilarious because one of the title was "Your period cycles" xD

    So...how exactly does one get 11, 22, or 33? Wouldn't they just reduce to 2, 4, or 6?

    I'm not sure either... they said that a licensed numerologist would be able to read who would have these "master numbers" based on some other variables, like other repeating numbers in their dates, but I couldn't really understand them @.@ Math is not my strong suit at all @.@;;;;;

    Just think of them as special number, if you somehow get 11, 22, or 33 during calculation then...that's it, no more calculation needed.

    I've looked into numerology before, but I don't find it particularly accurate. lmao. My number is 1, & even though some parts of the description are true I don't really think it fits me overall. I'm not at all a leader or domineering in anyway lolol

    And yes, but those are exceptions. The reduction thing doesn't apply when both digits in the final number (the one you obtain by adding up the digits in your birthdate) are identical.

    Well...the digits in my birth date add up to a double-number. But the calculator in the OP combines those digits to give me a single-digit number. So it's not clear whether 11, 22, or 33 are truly considered real things...or perhaps just by a fringe group?

    I got 3, here, AKA, 'The Creative Child', which does fit.

    I'm generally bored of I can't be creative; even sex has to be creative.

    And in many senses, I've never been able to abandon childhood, frivolity and a constant questioning of why things are as they are---nor am I overly fond of adulthood, which I have always found vastly over-rated.

    Hmmmm I don't know then :icon_eek: I don't see why the calculator would reduce it. From what I've read before, master numbers are considered real in numerology, there's plenty of information about that, it's just not very enlightening most of the time.     While I don't put a lot of stock in this, I find it interesting that my zodiac sign (Libra), birth date number (8) and one of my name numbers all equal balance. I'm sure many other people have similar coincidences.
