Has anyone watched good anime lately? I've actually got some time to spare again and there are sooooo many to choose from  I have no idea where to begin.

What would you guys recommend? :icon_bigg ...if anyone watches it?

I actually got back into watching anime more this year! I'm currently catching up on Noragami: Aragoto... would super recommend that and the first season.

Otherwise, the ones I finished recently and liked were Gin no Saji, Beyond the Boundary, Tiger & Bunny, and Hoozuki no Reitetsu.

I love pretty much anything from Key~ They are beautifully drawn and have lovely music~ they also have romance elements combined with supernatural/ ghost/ time travel, etc~ The stories are really interesting and the characters will stick with you~

    AIR TV
    Kanon (original and remake)
    Charlotte
Clannad (this is a classic, but it's not my favorite)

Aside from Key, I also like

    Pita-Ten
    Toradora
    Nisekoi
    The Pet Girl of Sakurasou

Yu Yu Hakusho is one of my all time favourites. Along with Witch Hunter Robin, Vision of Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, and X.

Some anime that I've watched recently and enjoyed are Gangsta (although the 'end' will disappoint, unfortunately the company went under, still a great show though!), Ghost in Shell, K (aka K Project), Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, Psycho Pass, and Tokyo Ghoul.

There are lots of good ones.
Considering where we are, I'd most recommend Sailor Moon because it has gay and trans characters.

    My all time favorite classics:

    1. Urusei Yatsura (first series by Rumiko Takahashi, whom is mainly known for Inuyasha. Hilarious sci-fi classic that paved the way for almost all anime series and probably my all time favorite.)

    2. Kimagure Orange Road (like UY, this series also further paved the way for mainstream anime. I can not recommend this series enough!)

    3. Maison Ikkoku (Takahashi's second series, mainly romantic comedy. Very touching series.)

    4. Sailor Moon (original series)

Of course the ONLY way to watch these series is in Japanese with English subs!

If we're going gay then there's a LOT more than Sailor Moon! XD (Although that's obviously a classic.)

X does actually have at least 2 gay characters (they have a prequeal that goes into their relationship called Tokyo Babylon). Kino's Journey's main character is intersex.

I'm completely blanking on other things... wtf brain! XD Sorry

Noragami is a must see this season--completely recommend! I've heard that Charlotte is good, and God Eater is good, if you like anime action. Owari no Seraph is...well, people seem to either love it or hate it.

Watamote is hilarious (though sometimes gets more sexual than expected). Mirai Nikki is also a good one to check out, if you've never seen it. I also really enjoy Rozen Maiden, though it seems to be an acquired taste, you know? Some people like it, some don't. Sky Girls is also a good series, if you can look past some obvious fanservice (I also just need more people to talk about Sky Girls with, God the fanbase is empty ;-; ). I know quite a bit more, but good recommendations honestly depend on the kind of series you're looking for.
