I was thinking about this about last night and I want to hear what you guys think about the topic. Some theory's of why people are gay included - Chemical imbalance - A "gay gene past down" - absent parents What do you think
Well, for a start, no one else's fault. It's not a gay gene, the absence of parents, childhood trauma or an illness. There is no more a cause for being gay then there is one for being straight.
Eh, faulty argument. Heterosexuality is hardwired into the majority of human beings because it is necessary in order to perpetuate the species, at least until we figure out a way of asexually reproducing.
There is darkness in the universe, and it's dominant But on the other hand there is light, which brings hope and joy. There is cold , but there is also heat There is death , and it's dominant , but there's also life. And there are heterosexuals ,but on the other hand there are LGBT+ Life is built on opposites, and just like how light/heat and life exists, we also exist.
Guess our brains are just wired a little differently. But everyone's different. Some people like vanilla ice cream and some people like chocolate. Some like both. Some people like cats and some people like dogs. Some like both. Some people like girls and some people like boys. Some like both.
But we already have, in a way. We don't need to be sexually attracted to someone to have a baby with them. It's called artificial insemination.
Well, if we're talking about how LGBT+ people are born, here's some of what I know. There are many reasons, but I know one reason is that males with more older brothers have a more likely chance of being gay. The chance increases with each older brother. The womb sees the Y chromosome as a foreign substance and attempts to remove it. Females and older sisters do not count in this rule. I also know that it works in a similar way as left handedness. Lesbians in particular are x2 more likely than straight women to be left handed. With LGBT people, certain parts of the brain resemble the opposite sex. I think even more parts of the brain resemble the opposite sex for transgender people. And when you think about it, people can be right handed (common like heterosexuality), left handed (less common like homosexuality), ambidextrous (like bisexuality), or even ambisinister (like asexuality). Another thing that's a mix of the two is identical twins. Identical twins can possess "mirror traits", which include one being left handed and the other being right handed, or one being gay and the other being straight. They have the same genes, but the gene expression is different. I don't want to ramble because there's a ton more regarding how this all works, but I'll leave it at this. All and all, it seems the majority of what makes LGBT+ people LGBT+ people is how the brain functions.
Not really asexual reproduction, but I see your point. Still, artificial insemination is way too unreliable as is to make any significant difference in the way we approach reproduction as a species. And even if the success rates were improved, it would have to get normalized across the span of several generations before it could hope to make a dent in our basic mating instincts (if even that). For the foreseeable future, the good ol' dick-in-the-pussy remains the most effective and cheap way of getting around making babies. Satan senpai knows best <3
