Hey guys, I just want to know your opinions and comments on the new iPhone coming in more than a week to go... :smilewave
I saw on Youtube that this one will be the biggest leap of all iPhone S's. Double the RAM, 12 mp camera, Force Touch, a new color which is Rose Gold and a lot more. I think the apple event is today 'coz I asked Siri about it. By the way Siri is hilarious... :roflmao:
This i my first thread so I wish a lot of you guys will share your own thoughts and opinions... (&&&)
Thanks guys!!! I love EC!... :eusa_clap

I have had all of the major operating systems on phones, Apple, Android, Windows, and BlackBerry. I keep going back to the iPhone. It's my personal favorite. Currently on the iPhone 6+. With Android I had to erase and reset my phone about every 6 months. Mostly due to software updates released by the manufacturers and Google/Android not working with the hardware on the phone. With Apple I've never had a software problem. Windows is lacking in the App choices. Blackberry has completely redesigned the interface and failed. It's difficult to navigate and they're also lacking in the available Apps. What I plan on doing is waiting until the iPhone 6s is in stores and do a side by side comparison of the 6s and 6 to see if the upgraded features of the 6s are worth the extra cost compared to the 6.

It's okay, but it's very expensive and limited for a thing whose main function is to serve as a phone and a gps navigator. I also don't share their obsession with thinness and disregard for battery life and storage space. The base model comes with 16GB of memory, if you want the model with 64GB you have to pay up 100 bucks more. And that's at a time when the price of memory has never been lower.

So, basically it's okay if you don't mind paying that much money, otherwise you can find better and more capable phones for the same money or if you don't want the best and latest you can get a mediocre phone for half the price.

The 6+ is way too big for my hands.

I'm glad the 6S is coming out, because it'll hopefully mean second-hand prices for older models drop a bit more. My 4S is dying and I'm keeping an eye out for a pre-owned 5S.

I'm not buying it, I use old fashioned cell phones for senior citizens because I don't like being so easily accessible to everyone 24/7.

Ok, well thank you guys so much for your opinions and comments. I appreciate it. I saw apple's revelation of the iPhone 6s. I know this phone have some added features.
But I think I'm just gonna wait for future iPhones. Maybe next 1-2 years more awesome and unique features will be released. I'm gonna stick with my old Samsung Galaxy S4 FOR NOW...
Again Thank you guys so much for the input. My first thread here is successful so far and whoever wants to be my friend, I'm open to all of you guys... Love EC!!! (*hug*) (!)

+1 With 6s coming out, I'm sure previous models will drop prices with maybe $ 100 or more...
Thanks for the input... :smilewave

I had a huge thing typed out about Apple's marketing tactics, and my thoughts on the 6s, but chrome crashed, and I lost it all :frowning2:

To summarise what I originally wrote: With Apple's design stagnancy and fear of innovation, I predict that they'll be in a RIM situation in under 10 years. They have 75% of their eggs in a customer loyalty basket, which is not a situation you should put yourself in, considering how large the market is atm.

They look suave and and their specs are fine, but ultimately I require the customization and accessibility of an android (or windows, or anything that isn't ios). And I think itunes is bullshit. So I'm not exactly looking forward to the 6s.

:smilewave Thank you for your input. Very well said... :-D I love how samsung and other smartphones have the capabilty to be customized by its user. I used one before. But I also like how smooth and simple iPhones are although they're lacking some unique specs... I think it just comes down to personal preferences. :eusa_clap

IPhones are extremely limited compared to Android phones. Not to mention that the premium Android phones are cheaper and have better specs then the overpriced IPhones!

 You're absolutely right. Android phones have way more specs and they're very affordable. IPhones excel in premium design and some features too but its prices are over the top. Here in Italy a 64gb iPhone 6 plus costs € 940 or $1,000+. That costs too much for a phone, isn't it?... :bang:
