I once hurt this girl's feelings by calling her a tomboy. She wore casual skater clothes and didn't wear makeup, so I assumed she wouldn't think much of it.
I don't really feel like there is a funny way of hurting someone's feelings. I enjoy offensive humor sure, but finding humor in causing someone else pain seems mean spirited.
It's not finding humor in hurting someone's feelings, it's finding humor in the way you hurt someone's feelings. Still, I don't see humor in it. Not because it's mean, but... what's so funny about it?
It was just unexpected. She also didn't seem like the sensitive type. Maybe unexpected is a better word.
well not so much as me but my dad was driving my mom and grandma back and forth to my cousins high school graduation, well to get there faster he went 10 miles over the speed limit. when they got back she proceeded to say "i cant believe you went 10 miles over the speed limit, you just dont take my feelings into consideration" and then started crying. like really? how is that something that can hurt ur feelings?
I have in the past said stuff out of spite or for a reaction (Which I got) cant really repeat some of the stuff .
