Coming out as transgender

    Hi!
    So I want to come out to my mother as a FTM transgender. I have always been quick to hide the idea - wearing pink dresses and letting my mom do my makeup - so she doesn't feel disappointed in me. But I think now would be a great time to tell her since school is coming up and I want to go as a boy.
    I came out to her that I liked girls 3 years ago, and she thinks it's a phase but is alright with it, I guess. But this - this will probably be a whole different story.
    Any advice on how to come out to her?

    I'm in the opposite, MTF transgender... I think she probably won't be angry, but try to be gradual and not brute force.
