I know this is supposed to be good news and all but I really wish the media would stop keeping this relevant. Aren't there more important things to worry about?
"Transgendered" is not a good word to use. "Transgender" works instead, and is not offensive. ^^ (Also changed "it" to "she" because it's clearer.)

This is important for trans* visibility and as such, for once, the media is doing something good. This might actually help quite a few people.
I wish we could have seen her completely real body rather than a Photoshopped Caitlyn, but what can you do. I'm glad she is taking steps in the direction she wants to rather than hiding.
To expand on my previous post this has two important effects: The first being that people around the world will learn a bit more about what transitioning means and furthermore, gives them the opportunity to see a successful transition and how amazing it can be. The second even more important effect is to give hope to those who are trans and are afraid to transition. When I first discovered that I was trans, I was petrified of what it means and didn't believe that I could successfully pass at my age. I was lucky enough to meet a dear friend here that gave me what Caitlyn will hopefully give others, hope that I might one day pass successfully or at the very least pass most of the time. This might actually save lives by giving hope to those who have none and feel lost and afraid of what the future might bring.
Yeah, well, I probably didn't really think about that, lol. I guess my post might have seemed mean-spirited but I can't go one day without seeing an article about Bruce Jenner and all this transitioning stuff. I just wish they wouldn't keep pestering us 24/7 about it. It just makes it seem like it's all just for attention to a family who already gets too much attention from the media.
Yayy! She's so beautiful and I'm so happy she was able to do all this despite being so famous and everything.
I'm so proud of her! She's come a long way, and I really admire her for publicly transitioning, and being herself.
One of my teachers said the world was bad, just look at the Kardashians, and Bruce Jenner thinks he is becoming a woman... I wonder what they thought about that.
Neither did I, I was scrolling through my news feed and saw her lottery said out loud wow she's beautiful, I scrolled up and saw the caption and went WOW like you two said good for her
It's great, to have more trans celebrities is great for us trans folk. I only hope to see more in the future. Gives me hope :')
She is beautiful! Let's all hope that Caitlyn's coming out inspires in society a newfound acceptance for the transgender community and all transgender people!
