Video games that some times you take too seriously.

Super Smash Bros. I usually take it seriously unless I'm just messing with my brother to make him angry.

He's starting to learn, though...

Me: *walks into my brother's room* "Hey, wanna play Smash, bro?"
Brother: *glares* "Later, I'm doing something."
Me: "... fine." *closes door* *opens door again* "I'm playing Final Fantasy 10 because of you. I hope you're happy." *closes door*
Brother: "you dont... have to play Final Fantasy T--"
Me: "I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY."

Edit: can I just add that I broke that game just now, literally just loading up my save file and walking into a corner trying to talk to a cat-dog-hyena-whateverthefuck.

I don't know how to feel about this game.

 

Everything that lets me create my own character and has an awesome lore. Also Tomb Raider games. Played every each one of them. And currently my love is Dark Souls. I don't think I ever went through any game more than three times ever. That is until Dark Souls.

 

I take smash way too far on for glory, the lag throws of my timing and spacing and being a Marth main those are really important. I'm one of the best in my area offline though.

And fire emblem, when a unit dies, not kidding, I will cry. i'll go downstairs and my mom will say "who this time?"

my parents don't understand, they're like my babies that i get to fight to the death for me.

 

Pokemon and around a dozen or so other RPGs.

But no, seriously.
I will murder. This isn't a game, I ain't even playin'.

 

FIFA. I concede a goal, someone injures one of my players, or I get a penalty called against me, and it is f OVER.

And if I concede a goal directly because of a penalty called against me...

 

I took Minecraft multiplayer way too seriously in 2013.
Even had a rivalry with my group vs another group haha it was so sad...
Now I'm pretty, chill for the most part with all games.

 

Def Dirty Bomb and Titanfall, and other fps games. I'm doing my best to "get good" and sometimes I get a wee bit flustered.

 

Pokemon showdown, chess, and any Super Smash Bros. game. I'm a very competitive person.

 

Oh man, I love smash bros!! I think I take all games too seriously. Especially Star Wars RPGs.

 

League of Legends, except not sometimes. All the time.

 

Final Fantasy X. That game is my life.

Love is but a fleeting dream.

 

Almost every game, specially the RPGS and online games.

 

Any game I play with a competitive team, guild or clan.

 

Any game where twelve year olds call me derogatory terms. I must beat them! (usually i dont though lol)

 

Anything competitive for me. I cannot play games with kids that call you everything under the sun though. I refuse to argue with them, but I still nerd rage on my end. I'm like you little shits and they just keep winning. So infuriating lol.

 

PlanetSide 2. I've spent a good amount of my time learning the game's mechanics, what weapons do best in what situations, what the known bugs and glitches are and so on. I probably take the game far too seriously.

 

Most of my gaming library. :/

Borderlands and Fallout are probably the top two that I REALLY research, experiment and learn about. I'm VERY into all the weapon comparison, upgrades and techniques, etc, and I take them very seriously, and I've gotten quite good at Borderlands.
In terms of rage... Vampire Rain... just... no. Jericho was ungodly (no pun intended) tough, but Vampire Rain just damn well killed me and my patience.

And I don't take CoD 4 very seriously at all, which goes against most stereotypes of CoD players. :lol:
I love it, and like playing it seriously... but... I also shoot/stab my teammates and laugh.... And "fall" off cliffs.... and dance on grenades..... Because I can.
I also hardly ever rage in that game or others, which is another stereotype that doesn't fit. But that GODDAMN Vampire Rain made me ragequit and never look back.

Anyway, I'm gonna go "accidentally" shoot everyone who shouldn't be shot.
In the game, I mean. :/

Splitscreen with my best friend is good enough for me.

But on the few online computer games I have played, I found that it is funny as f*ck to just... outsmart them.

Someone called me demonspawn, and I thanked them. :roflmao:
The rage was historic.

Then I killed someone, they went "Maddafacka" and I typed, "aww, does someone need a hug?"
They just silently left. :lol:

 

All of the assassin's creed games, the sims (making scripts and planning who ends up with who) and quite recently, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture- This game makes me feel so... strange. You don't really do anything and you just follow these light orbs and explore the world but the story is so vague that by the time you finish the game you end up with so many questions... It's so frustrating hahaha

 

I find myself taking absolutely every game way too seriously.
Harvest Moon games are supposed to be pretty nice, easy going farming games. Nope. I turn it into a crazy stressful game where I need to do things quickly. Heck, I turn Animal Crossing into a cut throat game, and there is absolutely No Way that Animal Crossing can get turned into an intense game by any normal person.

I have some serious issues.

 

Goddamn minecraft pe hungergames.
