Oh wow, I've finally hit the point where I stop in to check out what's been going on with EC and recognize almost nobody. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Nearly 5 years is a long time to be here.

A long time ago (several months) I was reading this book about MBTI, and the author gives talks to people and he does experiments like make up moral dilemma stories. For example, imagine several people are on a hot air balloon that is gonna crash if somebody doesn't sacrifice themselves, and he gives some details about the characters before asking... "what should they do?" The author notes that "intuitive" types usually discuss which character should sacrifice themselves and why, checking each character's value to society and so on blah blah blah. The "sensing" types usually say the heaviest person should be dropped. Somehow it amused me.

Wow, that is a long time! Welcome back - I'm sure you'll recognise a few old faces. Probably not mine, as I still consider myself relatively new, but still.

So this one group dedicated to The Songs of Ice and Fire(sorry if I get the name wrong) sent me a request on this one art site. I in no way ever do any drawings(I can't draw for the life of me) or fan fiction involving this series. This group is very small and only do screen caps of the show, so far anyways. I don't really see why this person sent me an invite to their group :\... Maybe I'll ask them why?

I just realized that this touchpad glitch has been causing my private messages and possibly emails to send twice. How long has this been happening....

    Hi there, fellow Michigander. :eusa_clap

I really wish the gay bookstore near me hadn't closed. It would make shopping for my uncle's wedding so much easier. :frowning2: They had same sex wedding cards, and I want to get a gay themed tie tack just for the occasion.

After a very exhausting four days my boyfriend and I have finally finished building my desktop again. It's pretty sexy and is a beast now. My boyfriend and I have built four desktops together in around three years, and every time it is near relationship ending. We fight and argue constantly over things that actually have very little difference in the end. The final straw this time was when he snatched a cooling unit out of my hands and told me to get out. I snapped. Yelling ensued. He couldn't get it in on his own and told me to "take it to the fucking geek squad. I'm not doing shit for you." This cooling unit took us two days alone.

I randomly woke up really early this morning, got bored when I couldn't fall back asleep, and so I decided to try it again. In my foggy haze I realized the screws were reversed. I switched them and put it in by myself in less than 5 minutes. With very much pleasure I walked back to the bedroom, knelt down next to his angelic sleeping face and said, "I did it. It's in, you mother fucker. Now finish it." And he did. That's true love ladies and gentlemen.

Whoa, whoa, you gonna be ok, bro? Giving up on your life isn't worth it. Seriously.

Dinner would be so much nicer if I wasn't sitting across from a passive aggressive alcoholic mother-of-my-boyfriend.

That's when you dig through the fridge and eat whatever you can get your hands on. Or order a pizza. Whichever works.

It's interesting to see yourself in other people. I'm always torn between wanting to make them address their priorities and leaving them for the wolves, because some folks have to hit rock bottom before they listen...

What amuses me about all of this is, when they say, you don't understand how I feel, or why I am this way. In a mature sense, I accept this as meaning I've come quite a ways from how I was, as I'm unrecognizable, but deep down it stings, because I have to remind myself that it isn't being perceived as stupid or incapable. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the rush that came with intimidating or forcing people into roles or situations, because trying to play the firm but supportive role feels limiting at times...

On a lighter note, I can still have a hands-free orgasm. One of the perks of being sensitive to certain sounds, I suppose, LOL.
