I probably just sent the stupidest text message I've ever sent in my life. Oh well. This is embarrassing.

What I've hated about the newer iTunes (probably for the past couple years) is how convoluted it is to transfer music off of an iPod/iPhone onto iTunes (I've had to replace a couple computers so I needed to do that a few times). For whatever reason, it used to be easier doing it on Windows because you could go into the iPod's hidden files and pull the music files up. With a Mac (which I have now) you have to download a third-party program. THIRD-FREAKING-PARTY. Apple doesn't even give you an easy way to transfer stuff off their own devices!!
Plus, ugh. I just updated iTunes (because I had an OS update too). I'm sick of how they're aping Apple Music (I'm NOT signing up right now, leave me alone), the album organization on the music app is atrocious (instead of organizing albums alphabetically like you could in the past, it always has to be by artist- this would be fine if that's how it was all along but to suddenly change it around? Ugh!) It's not how intuitive as it used to be and that's what Apple was all about, being more intuitive.

The copy/pasting won't be too bad for me but I figured that's the kind of thing they would've phased out in earlier versions. Why remove the option to drag songs into playlists? That's like the opposite of being intuitive too, especially when it's the user's instinct to drag stuff because that's what they're used to from new versions.

I do not understand people who only read LGBT fiction. There is so much good literature out there, and you choose to limit yourself based on the character's sexuality?!

This goes for straight people who have a problem with homosexual content as well.

That goes for any genre too. Like just reading fantasy or romance or whatever. Broaden your mind a little, makes you a better reader too if you understand more literary conventions and genre quirks.

Ordered a new ring for my lip. Based on my order history it seems I wear one style of ring for about 7ish months.

I agree with both of you? I mean I like it when it's a LGBT character because it makes them more relatable but most of the books I've read have been straight couples or people in general because there's just more out there? But I'm currently reading a lot of autobiographies and stuff I'm not sure why :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Maybe it'd be easier if I went into some form of hibernation for the next five-or-so years so that socialising with and trying to form relationships with peers doesn't seem as hopeless as now.

Just hope you have antivirus (and that lag and glitches and loading goes away).

School starts tommorrow. It is a half day, so a B schedule (4 minutes between classes, 15 minute lunch, no 15 minute break). I hope I will not have Algebra 2 with the bullies that picked on me last year.

Why am I so worried about how people perceive me? Just sending an email where I ask someone a question that I might think they consider awkward is like pulling teeth. I get a shot of adrenaline when I hit the send button. :eusa_doh:

    No going back now. gulp

So it seems that the next chapter in my life is truly about to begin, and that both excites and terrifies me (but in a good way). I’m less than 72 hours away from moving into my dorm room, meeting my roommate, making new friends, learning new things, and making a life for myself. For the first time in this entire transitioning to college process, I’ve finally been able to cry. But I’m not crying tears of sadness, or pain, or suffering. I’m crying tears of joy, because I know that this is the right decision for me, and that I need to do this to become my own person. College is a scary thing for most people, and it is for me too. But I also know that going to college is going to be one of the best experiences of my life, because I plan on making it one of the best times of my life. I’m so lucky to be going to the school of my dreams, and also going there with some of my best friends from high school. And while there are certain aspects about the town I grew up in I will most likely not miss, there are also the people who were always there for me, and I can’t thank them enough for being with me every step of the way. It truly does take an entire village to raise a child, and in that respect, my hometown succeeded in raising a young person who feels empathy towards others, and wants to help people in their life.

I thought professional back crackers normally kept themselves in sufficient condition that they wouldn't be sore from a simple workout

You really should be proud of yourself! I met my good friend the first hour of my first college class. It will happen. I found making friends in college 10 times easier than high school. People know they will need support during their time at school, so they naturally are just less of an idiot. :lol:You got this. I really recommend you read the thread on tips for first time college people, which is down the page. I spent some time on my post.

I still remember those feelings that ran through my mind when he hugged me. I wanted that hug to last longer -sigh-
