I'm SO hungry! My stepdad went out for pizza almost an hour ago and hasn't returned yet. OH! Wait! Just as I wrote this, I heard the car pull up in the driveway! Pizzapizzapizzaaa!
I've decided to change my viewpoints on the furry community and be more open and kind to them. (Please see my new blog post for more info.) :icon_bigg
So today at work a customer called me a "damned queer." One of the servers heard and put his job on the line trying to defend me. Manager overhead the commotion and almost threw em out. The only reason he didnt was because I told him It was okay. In response he told me "I may not care much for that lifestyle, but I swear *insert my name here* if that ever happens again you come straight to me. I will not let anyone talk to you like that. Now I understand you probably get that enough but I will not tolerate that in my store." Husky:1 Society:0
You know when someone is like "Sorry, sorry, I shouldn't have brought this up, I don't want you to worry about me, never mind, forget about it"? Yeah. Definitely worrying about you, girl.
Being essentially kicked out of the local and surrounding lgbt communities has...brought on the feels again; each time in reminded of it, it just makes me miss my crush more and more...(something I had did well in getting out of my mind for a while) ;_; :tears: ;_; Now it's like every damn thing reminds me of said crush somehow...like wtf? -__-
I went on rounds in the ICU clinic today with the medical team. It was so interesting to hear about the diagnoses and interventions the physicians, nurses, and nutritionists made for every patient. Four years of education finally feels useful because I was able to understand the plan created for every patient. Even the small tasks that I'm assigned to do during this rotation helps the hospital save money. For instance, converting intravenous non-antibiotic/antibiotic medications to oral when appropriate and making renal adjustments for certain medications, at the end of the day, keeps costs low. I feel like I'm making a difference and am being useful for once, lol Just working here for five days has opened my eyes to this field, and I really want to consider it after graduation.
Okay, so I tried to bake some sugar-free brownies for a diabetic. Big mistake. It ended up as a bit of kitchen disaster. Let's just say, chocolate brownies shouldn't... froth. It was like something out of Alien.
I rolled over in bed while half-asleep and dreamed that I was cuddling with my dog. It was actually my boyfriend.
I went to the health food store because today is "fish Friday" at our house (we like to cook fish on the weekends and its sometimes "fish Saturday" :lol. The had Ahi tuna on sale but didn't have enough for what needed so instead we'll be having Dover sole, along with couscous with shiitake mushrooms, and green beans... and sweet tea.
Destiny: Control is where it's at. I am savage with the sniper rifle and throwing knives, and the enemy does not like the Point I'm at. I beat one-man armies down, I dance around grenades, and I tear apart human waves. But rocket launchers are a problem, LOL.
The first seven words of that are funny to me because my school says health food is un Biblical and it reminded me of how odd they are at my school. Aparently they think God wants everyone to die before age 50.
