I didn't go to prom. It never was something I really had an interest in doing. I don't regret my decision.

We went with a group. It was kind of understood that I was paired with a girl, but we didn't dance together or anything. I was mainly looking at my crush as he was freak dancing with some girls. It made me uncomfortable, but I think it was because my denial started to break down around that time. It was a few months later where I had the strong urge to get naughty with him as I drove him back to school after a baseball game(we were both on the team). He started asking me if I had seen a girl naked before on the ride back, and I said no and so wanted to ask him if he had seen a guy naked. It wouldn't have been the best idea to get freaky with him being I was 18 and he was 16, so yeah..

I haven't gone to prom yet, but I'll probably end up going with my best (female) friend.

I didn't go to prom. I had no chance of finding a partner and I didn't want to see all those girls dressed so nicely and having so much fun while I would be alone and regretting high school. Plus, it was expensive to join the party.

I was surprised (although not really) to discover that proms had become a thing over here a few years ago, when I was growing up they didn't do them. In any event I doubt I would have been interested, I didn't even bother turning up for the last day of school seeing as exams were finished. We had school discos as kids but that was just dress-up and turn-up, not go with a date. And I only ever went to one of those.

    I wore...

    ... and sold "stuff".

Prom wasn't really my cup of tea, but there was a market.
And I wanted an excuse to wear a purple suit, too, so don't hate.

Though, if I'm honest about the idea now, it'd be nice to properly experience one.
Maybe decorating a room in the house as a dance, can be a potential date idea...

I didn't go to prom. To me it seemed like a waste of money.

I didn't have a green tie, or the face paint. =P

I also went alone, so no Harley.

Never had dates. I pretty much danced with my friends, I knew I wouldn't be making memories with someone I actually like-liked.

My first and last dances for both years was my best friend. She was pretty cool with it.

Every dance I did was really awkward, though. Save for probably one or two which a girl ended up almost crying on my shoulder because she couldn't stand that her ex was dancing with another girl.

I took my sister and had a grand time. We danced until it hurt to walk the next morning.

Thought of taking a guy but thats wishful thinking.I seem to have a preference for guys, but have never made a connection to anyone, so asking is too weird and I'm not out as well.
Whatever you plan that day, I hope you have fun and never regret it.:icon_redf

I'm a year away from prom. But I think what I'm going to do is just go with a bunch of my friends and we'll just party and dance like no one is looking, make a fool of ourselves during the slow dancing because we'll attempt to partner up and just have fun!

I just didn't go to my prom. I hadn't planned on going to begin with, but people started to jokingly nominate me for prom king and I went hell no. Even more reason not to go. I didn't regret it. 1) I don't dance, and 2) I didn't want to see my ex-best friend dancing with his girlfriend (that's a whole other story though.)
