I was reading an article on student prostitutes - apparently 22% of UK students have considered becoming a sex worker, which can also include glamour modelling, stripping, modelling on webcams etc. If I could guarantee my physical safety and could narrow my clients down to a few 'regulars' who I knew, trusted and was attracted to, I'd probably give prostitution a go. But I think it would be my very last resort. I know I could never work in an abattoir or a butchers. Or a fish factory. The smell, animals being slaughtered... Ugh no, never. Any jobs you wouldn't ever do, no matter what your circumstances were?
Construction worker. I mean, come on look at my physique. Do you think I can even lift two of hallow blocks at the same time? Plus I cant manage to stand up for a long time.
Same as LaEsmeralda with the no animal slaughtering, and I don't think I would want to do prostitution unless it was just Webcamming or escort/ talking bars... I also wouldn't want to be a garbage collector or a dentist or a doctor because I think it would make me physically ill...
-Anything military or police related, or anything that involved firing a gun -Working at Abercrombie and Fitch, I would barf. -Slaughterhouses, and also 'factory' farms (chickens, hogs, &c) -CIA, FBI, NSA or any other of the creepier US agencies -Working on Wall Street for crooked companies, like Goldman Sachs, &c. -Dogcatcher I could see doing fetish-related videos or something, as I find certain things fun, and they are ones that are also safe, but I doubt the market would be that big!
I could never do anything super physical because I have permanent muscle damage. Everything else is fair game, though I work best when I am actually interested in what I am doing. As with most people, haha.
Same. I would never put my life on the line for such a dysfunctional system. I'm a pacifist anyways. Also, anything to do with abusing animals is a no-go.
I wouldn't want to work in the sex trade, meat industry, debt collection industry, any type of industry that involves scamming, investment banking/hedge funds, or in the celebrity gossip industry. Until recently I'd thought of becoming a police officer, as I had fancied becoming a crime scene investigator or police detective (or even an FBI agent!). My lack of the necessary personality traits notwithstanding, the recent news involving police corruption, brutality, and overreach has effectively put an end to that dream. On the other hand, I've been considering entering the military lately, despite my long-standing distaste for it. Maybe the Navy now, as I'm too old for some of the other branches.
Teacher-waaaay too impatient for it Janitor-I hate cleaning up after others Waitress-again no patience and it all seems overwhelming Anything in Retail-the amount of disrespect I'd receive would land me a spot in prison Porn Star/Sex Worker-admittedly it seems fun but it would come back to haunt me later Doctor/EMT-again it seems overwhelming Cop/Firefighter/Marine-I don't wanna die!
I couldn't do these jobs: Working with babies Working with the elderly Politician Comedian Teacher Farmer
