Simple curiosity: when you shower, do you use your hands, a washcloth or something like a loofah to wash your body? Personally I prefer a washcloth, I find it scrubs the skin better than using bare hands and thus, is more hygienic. how 'bout you?
Bare hands for me, I wonder to what extent washcloths are hygienic (unless you use a fresh one every time).
Hands. Sometimes a washcloth if I have paint on me or oil and grease. If it gets on me when working on stuff...
Ideally, it'd be somebody else's hands... ... but since I'm alone and single, I go back and forth between my own hands, and maybe a wash cloth. Just sort of depends, really.
Water hardness (the concentration of magnesium (Mg) and calcium (Ca) in the water) will affect how effectively the water washes off the soap. In areas with very soft (low Mg and Ca) water it takes much longer for the soap to come off, in those situations, using a loofah or washcloth is almost essential. Montreal water is quite hard (laugh track here) so removing the suds by hand (one's own, or better, someone else's) is easy!
