Right I'm fully aware some on here will not agree with this, hey ho: I do have to amuse myself sometimes... so.. reading an article and someone is peddling hate about transgender's. It's one of those comment sections that uses facebook - So I decide to message them there as you can see: I was blocked, but I had a way around that: I was subsequently blocked again one last way around: I found it amusing and on occasion I will antagonise the worst of the bigots where the chance presents itself
I do the same sometimes  When I see an ignorant bigot in the YouTube comments it takes all of my willpower not to argue with them
I LOVE YOU!!! Because I do the same thing. Can I be your side-kick!? I love arguing with them. If they were gone, there there goes my fun and entertainment.
I'm not usually amused by bigots when their hate is directed at me specifically, but otherwise I might see their ignorance as laughable.
But that's when you post them one of your most favorite, and the most cutest Yuri scenes you can think of, and be like, "How can you hate something this cute?!" Have some fun with them.
I used to be the same way, but now it's not too difficult to not respond, unless it's really bad. Even then, I try my best to keep insults and yelling at minimum and to be respectful, even when I get nothing but disrespect in return. I have systems to "reply" to internet comments I hate: I tap my middle finger on the screen where the comment is written. If I see a comment I really like but don't think I need to actually respond and I can't "thumbs up" it, I tap the screen with my thumb, like thumbs up. It's like "Write hate letters to all of your enemies, but never send them" This has saved me from a lot of unnecessary replies and arguments.
Well all the homophobes I come across are strangers to me, and I'm too nervous to talk to them. >.< But that does sound like something I would do if they were someone I knew better or someone I were already in a conversation with beforehand.
As I said, I knew not 'everyone' would agree and it's something I do on occasion ,not all the time. The passive thing and whispering sweet nothings into a bigots ear, especially a particularly nasty one rights the world I'm sure. But thanks for the enlightening sentence..
Haters just makes me think. Who or what had done them wrong for them to turn out like this? And, what did the person being hated on do to deserve this flame?
It's a skill, an art form, and an aptitude some have and some don't. It sounds like you have those. I have wanted to do it but refrained because of what it might have meant - mostly along the lines of keeping a job. But I definitely hear where you are coming from. On occasion, I HAVE done it. ---------- Post added 18th Jan 2015 at 11:34 PM ---------- This piques something with me. I don't fully agree. The reason is because some people trespass and then use this ( ^ ) "guilt trip" when you lash out and want to reset boundaries. I have heard this one verbatim. Sometimes it IS revenge and sometimes it is about setting boundaries and putting people in their places. It depends entirely on the context and the circumstances.
I'll admit that I do this stuff from time to time, especially on youtube. I basically add things like, "That's all you got?" and "When you've run out of pathetic 6th grade come backs, notify me." It usually ruffles their feathers, knowing that they can't get under my skin.
Ha, what a twat! He was being such a pisspot about you, 'cause he got scared for calling you a fag. What an idiot.
