So i am in the process of slowly coming out to friends. One of them has been asking about dating and that i should "ease myself in". I don't know many gay guys, so i don't know who else to ask, but how do gays start dating? How do i ease myself in? I guess my friend means through like gay websites and stuff, but they're all for hookups, something which i am not interested in. How did you start dating? Thanks for any advice!

I guess I have it lucky in the sense that my college is very LGBT+ friendly and has quite a few LBGT+ students, but it may be harder for you and other people, so I don't really know any advice. >.<
I haven't dated in quite a while, so it'd be nice to have a refresher course I started dating guys once I went to the LGBT alliance on campus and started talking to people. I also wound up finding some guys in my city via certain dating sites, and we went on a couple of dates. Alas, I haven't found my true Prince Charming yet
