I gave my mum a list of names that I liked and she picked Zach out so we're test running it. It's bloody amazing to see how accepting and accomodating she's been in such a small amount of time. Shame the same can't be said for my dad.

Oh definitely. Hopefully my dad will understand and come around eventually too. Just have to give people time.

My dad nearly brought me to tears today. I mentioned my orchestra concert in May, and he said, "when are you talking to your teacher about...attire?" I so surprised, he then offered to get me a tux because he saw last concert how much pain I was in wearing a dress. And he knows how much violin means to me, and he doesn't want me to suffer through something I should be enjoying...

He really touched my heart tonight. He's getting better slowly.

I got my first wig a few days ago. It makes me feel at the very least like a legitimate trans girl, and at most a girl  It's incredible how much it helps. On the weekend I debuted fully as myself to my boyfriend's parents and they were so so so supportive! ^-^

I called another therapist with a huge waiting list. It rhymes.

At least I called, instead of waiting for the monster under my bed to pop out and take me away, which it'll do eventually.

I was making a drawing about how I think I'll look as a guy and my bestie asked "who is that guy?" And I said "uh well... It's... In the future..." What in the future? He asked "it's me. In the future" and he said "oh. Oh! Well, my bro looks pretty cute in the future!"

A friend called me Gray today. She usually forgets and uses my birth name, but it was so sudden and unexpected that it had me smiling for about an hour after it happened.

    Awesome.

    --

Well, found out that the reason I'm sick is probably relatively minor and just have to take antibiotics. So I won't have to delay T.

Finally got an actual appointment with a gender clinic and from what I've heard about that clinic, you're basically in and out in one day with a script. It's tied in with my insurance so they'll be able to test my blood, give me a consultation, and I'll be good to go. Since I'm legally male and can prove real life experience, I probably won't need a letter (that seems to be their policy) so hoping T happens in April.

You look great! It really suits you.

I've finally decided on a name! Isaac (shortened to Zach) and my mum and friends seem to think it suits me so I'm pumped that I have that stability in my life now. Also went shopping with my mum and brought some shirts and tops - felt anxious as hell shopping but at least I have some clothes that make me feel more confident.
