First, I'm pretty much out to everyone. Only one person has been unsupportive. My grandparents took it surprisingly well.
My second victory isn't really gender related, but it is huge for me. I left behind a band in my home state (that had a decent amount of fans) in order to pursue college. Now I have the opportunity to start a band here. I can't wait and it makes me so hopeful for the future, which I haven't felt in a long time. (!)

I hung out with my sister yesterday and we talked a little bit about me being trans. She told me how she had talked to my dad who I have always felt was a bit doubtful about the whole thing. I learned that my dad has literally zero problems with my gender identity and the reason he's doubtful and in some cases subtly tries to discourage me is because he's terrified I'll be assaulted or even killed because of what I am. Learning that made me really happy.

She also helped me shape my eyebrows so they'd be purty. Feminine eyebrows really does a lot for you.

Do you know what's better than talking to a therapist about gender identity? Talking to one who openly admits to the topic being a new, learning experience for him and assuring you that you can correct him on terms and tell him what you know and prefer to do and that you can explain that's there more than just male and female. He actually listened, you know. That was awesome.

He's gonna write up the letter, show it me/give me a copy next week, and then send it off so I can be referred to a gender therapist.

Almost four weeks after coming out, my mom is finally referring to me as a male in private conversation.

My teacher called me a girl today, and without even thinking I just completely shut her down and it felt so good. I know shouting may not have been the best choice, however she has been made aware of my masculinity, and she's the only one who still makes mistakes and doesn't correct herself. I was relieved anyway.

My abusive wife called me female. Used the right pronouns. Used my name. It was all a manipulation. But. This is a place for small victories. And. I won this battle. She finally, regardless of acceptance, FINALLY addresses me as a human being. She calls me Caelyn and she and her and she respects that gender. (For now)
And I'm clinging to that. I won this one.

Yesterday, I went to my first therapist appointment to move the process of transition along. It went well.

Well the face to face with my parents and therapist is Wednesday next week. Ughhh... at least they are willing to do this although I doubt it will be fun.

My mom has now started to correct herself when she calls me a girl or she. It's not perfect yet, but she's getting there  I don't know if she uses they/them pronouns when talking to other people, but it's nice to know she's trying.

    Wow, I haven't been here for so long, I have so much to say... ;<;

Well, I went to the girls restroom for the first time at school. Which was terrifying, but better than going to the guys room. xp

I'm doing a project on discrimination based on gender identity and expression, and I wrote a semi-autobiographical short story, and then I submitted it to the school's poetry/prose newspaper.

I got back together with some old friends from middle school (this was actually back in like September buuuuuut...), and one of them actually came out to me a week later as GQ, and I was the first person they told and I'm happy x3

A couple days after that I talked in front of my psychology class (we were doing a unit on Trans stuff), and that went well. One of them was like "oh, it's definitely environmental, jealousy of the other gender and stuff" and said all these transphobic things like that, but after I spoke to her later she did a complete 180, and she offered to take me shopping. XD

I've been noticing a bit more breast growth, so... :3

I've been "passing" a lot more now. We just went to Niagara Falls last Friday and when we got back, I needed new ear buds, so we went to buy some, and the guy at the cash register looked at me and said, "Let me guess. This is for you," then turned to my mom with a bit of a chuckle, "I could tell, she was waiting for it."
I didn't have any makeup on, because of Niagara Falls, all I had on was a bit of coverup, but yay. :3

    *deep breaths* I think I'm done. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

My mum and I were talking about the fact she didn't know which gender I was when she was pregnant, and she said 'I really hoped for a girl, and then they came with you and said 'it's a girl', but I mean, you can't quite say that it was a girl'. I don't know if it was positive, but it's something!
