My mum used my female name for the first time
I wear a necklace when I'm a girl so they know when to use she/her pronouns and my female name, but they haven't until now.
I think my dad's more opposed to it though, so it may be a while before he follows suit.

I had finally started counseling, I think that counts. For an hour every two weeks I can just be seen and treated as me rather than he. As terrifying as it is, I wanted to cry when I left because noone else would be able to see me that way. I can't think of a time I felt better. Almost want to call that a big victory, but this seems like a great place to post how awesome that made me feel.

Put on a binder for the first time today! It was so great. Now I'm excited to look for more masculine clothing. Also, I started a new job, and my boss dresses in a masculine way but is DFAB, like me.(!)

It was short lived, but I didn't mind being in front of the mirror this morning. I was pretty okay with how I looked for a change. I hope the T keeps that up.

Well, I came out to my other best friend yesterday, and she was really accepting and stuff. ._.

I probably should have told her a few months ago, but... >.>

Oh, a week ago, I also went to a trans support group at a local LGBT center. They were really awesome but holy crap was I shy. x_x

Today a random older woman told me at the restroom that I looked like a boy. She wasn't upset : It seemed to me like surprised as in positively surprised... As if she had just been fooled by an optical illusion, and found the whole thing amusing in a good way.

I just said "well, that's the idea, you know... And I think it suits me".
She went "Indeed it does" still looking at me surprised and smiling.

I'm going to take this as a compliment. Don't think it would help me at all to focus on the negative side.

... However I still wonder if this is really a compliment or something to be ashamed of in my circumstances.

I got my haircut and, while I still don't pass for "male" very well (like...maybe a 17yo), I think I'm not so obviously "female" looking either! I've been noticing a lot of different looks lately, even if I'm not binding. I think I'm confusing people, and that makes me happy!

Today, my psych teacher called me "sweetie" instead of "sir".

I'm going to think of that as a victory. ._.

I cleared another shot, but this time without relying on a mirror and in the same room as my partner while he did his--and I'm usually really nervous to being a room with others when shot day comes up.

Recently, I told my group of male friends that I was bigender, and they told me that it did not matter. I still present male around them because that is what I am comfortable with, but knowing that it doesn't affect anything is wonderful.

i went to my first PFLAG support meeting last thursday, and came out to them as both Bi-sexual and questioning my gender. i told them that i can "feel" a female part of me that i kept boxed up for decades is awake and running loose in my head, so to speak. they were very accepting and when i asked for help getting information on gender etc. they offered to do anything they can.

I just got my eyebrows threaded today.

OW OW OW OW OW OWOWOWOW.

No, but seriously, I actually feel alot better not having caterpillar eyebrows anymore.

I think I should also add that after weeks of wearing women's jeans pretty much every day, wearing men's jeans feels even more weird than before. ._. I only have one pair of men's jeans now, and I only use them for laundry day... the pockets are way too big to me now. ._.

I should be pulling in my money soon, and I think I'm going to go for that prosthetic after all. I'm getting just that much closer to weeding out my dysphoria again.

People ask me what I look like without glasses a lot, & one time I took them off to show one of my friends, & she stared at my face for about a minute & said, "You know, you could make a seamless gender transition."

Didn't have any clean dresses or skirts I wanted to try today. Tried putting the bra on with a normal top. Bra fell apart. Sighed, picked out first t-shirt in drawer: turned out it was my most masculine t-shirt, one that used to belong to my dad. Put it on, felt miserable for an hour or two, decided to go find one of the new t-shirts we bought last week. Bottled it because of housemate coming home and the weirdness I feel around him. Then went back and got it anyway. Feeling about 1000x more comfortable with myself and better.

Okay, not so much a small victory as an "aww" moment to me, I recently started adding people who knew about me to a Facebook account I'd created with me new identity about a year ago with the intent of blowing off steam well since I added two sisters unfortunately I think my account is popping up in other people who know them's accounts... I currently have a profile pic of me in full makeup on there soooo.... Yeah... But my dad being the sweetheart he is and not wanting to accidentally out me to the rest of the family, created a second Facebook account just to add me
