This morning at church, one person told me my shirt looked pretty, and another said I was "starting to look feminine." I'm getting tons of support there, but those compliments were especially nice to hear.

I finally pass 80% of the time! I went with my sister when she got a hair cut and the woman asked her if she had any other siblings beside her little brother (me). I also went to this medicinal/herbal shop place with my mom and the woman asked if I was her son! This felt great but my mom doesn't understand how painful and depressing things are for me, so she misgendered me and 'corrected' the woman and said I was her daughter and said my birth name... I sort of got angry at her and told her what I'm feeling and she just shrugged it off. Having unsupportive parents really sucks so my heart goes out to everyone who has to deal with daily misgendering, etc. <3

I also went to the store and got some new clothes. First time going into the boys section and I got some really nice things which I look good in. (You can see one of the shirts I got in my album)

Also, if my friend responds she'll be able to help me get a binder! I found one that fits on Underworks and I just need to save up a bit more money, and then I can get it ordered to their house and pick it up from them at school or something.

It's a not really a victory, but I finally found a definition/meaning tied to my middle name after coming up dry for so long. It's "Strong; gifted ruler". It really does mesh well with my first name after all!

The house was empty today, and no one would be back for hours, so I raided a closet and tried on a dress for the first time. It was pink, with a light brown belt attached. I actually think I looked cute! I still have a lot to figure out about myself, but I'd wear it again in a heartbeat, publicly if I could get away with it.

I wore my first bra today. I got a black padded sports bra, and I wore that under my shirt and my hoodie (which happened to be a girl's hoodie). I wore it all day. It felt good. It felt right. And I liked seeing how different my chest looked without my hoodie on.

I used the men's room when I went out to lunch with my grandmother today. It was just a single, but this was one of the few times I have, and it felt really good today. Because I didn't think 'I'm going in the men's room, someone will find out', I just thought, 'I'm going to the bathroom'.

I've also been finishing up my coming out letter, and I am equal parts excited and terrified.

My councilor contacted me back! She is helping me find resources to send to my parents because I plan on coming out to them in mid-April. With or without their support, I'm going to come out to my school sometime in late April/early May! My councilor also set up a chat tomorrow and I get to talk to another trans guy who is two years older than me so he can offer me advice and stuff.

I'm taking really big steps really fast, but I think it's the right thing to do, I just hope my parents accept me as much as my councilor.

(also I'm getting a more masculine hair cut on Saturday and bleaching my hair on Sunday)

I FINALLY got a proper binder in the right size. It was really hard to put on at first, but it fits so well! And it's surprisingly comfortable too. I put on one of my tighter shirts that I've been avoiding wearing, and I look totally flat. Also my mom said that if this binder works out well, she'll buy me more :icon_bigg

i was walking trough Walmart this afternoon, and saw this really cute maxi dress and i flicked the tag and wouldn't you know it? my size and on roll back. in the cart and now in my closet. the victory here is it was my local walmart, not the ones a hundred kilometers away like i usually do when i bring my son to visit his mom.
