Small Victories

Thanks Vodkabarret, i have a dress but it's a winter knit one, this is for summer and my first brand new skirt as my others are from the second hand store. and the heels set it off perfectly legnth wise. and yep floating is a good feeling indeed.

Tomorrow is one month on T for the bae and I. So excited.

 

I didn't die today. It's both a victory and a tragedy.

 

Not exactly a victory but I ordered a binder from gc2b the other day. I'm kinda in between sizes so I hope I chose the proper size and it'll fit me well (I measured myself like hundred times, haha). It's expensive as it is without paying for exchange shipping so I'd like to avoid that, especially when I think I'll be charged some more by the Customs office. :dry:

 

Had a pretty good victory today, i sort of outed to my brother.
Told him that the reason why i'm so girly is because i feel like a girl inside..
Only thing i haven't told him is that i would like to look more like a girl too..
But for now tis is good, so small victory indeed!! feels a lot better since i'm temporarily
Living at my brothers house now.
And when i told him that i was gonna change my life so i will feel better he just said "Go Girl!! "
made me feel so good

I got something I didn't even know I needed!
I went to the store and got boxer briefs and I am in love with them.
Mind you, they are women's, but basically identical in appearance but without the extra space in the front :icon_wink
That's totally fine for the time being though (I don't have a packer)

I only have two pairs at the moment, but I doubt I'll ever go back to what I wore before.

I passed for like a whole 10 seconds today! I was in line at the deli and I got an "I can help you over here ma'am!" ^w^ course she heard my voice and that fell through... but that was a great 10 seconds!

I was called sir for the first time on Saturday.
Also, my binder has been making my chest quite flat which makes me happy.
I have been telling more of my friends that I prefer they/their pronouns and they are working on it
I also told a photographer I work with about my new name and pronouns and she said it was brave of me to do

 

pretty cool feeling isn't it? i love sleeping in my panties and my "male" underwear is sort of feminine looking and makes me feel more "girl like"

 

I have two victories to share:

1.) My EC Full Member application was accepted. Quite happy about that.

2.) I received an evaluation for one of my manuscripts that contained the notes: "You write about male relationships REALLY well [...] you are spot-on when it comes to offering a male's point-of-view." Given this evaluator is also psychologist his notes made me smile. A bunch. Still smiling, in fact.

 

Got a new haircut! I feel like I pass a lot better in it, I feel really awesome looking in the mirror now.

 

sitting in my doctors office waiting to go in, dressed like this today, and 2 different guys sat near me, and both tried to carry a conversation with me. i just smiled and nodded.

 

Actually had a pretty big victory today, i came out to my parents.
The took it fairly well but they need some time.

Well...last night I got my hair cut. As in I went from having hair that went halfway to my elbows to a longish-guy's cut. [ Imgur ] and I feel great. I feel like me.
