I told my friend that i'm *mostly* a guy. He's gonna call me by Ross, maybe even help me out with binders and whatnot... I dunno though, I'd consider this a pretty big victory :astonished:

So my fiance has been helping me through this whole process with me figuring out who i am. She told me to look at some gender identity pieces and i decided that i wanted to try packing.
It came today and i must say i have never been happier. I love the way it looks and feels. It just looks so natural to me.
So far i think that this is a small victory in the big picture of things but it feels like a huge step for me!

My mother complimented me on my nail polish!! I'd put on some pink nailpolish before I picked her up from my aunts and she said It looked like I'd gotten them done professionally! My heart leaped and we had a great conversation about nail polish, colors and techniques... She doesn't know I'm trans yet but... that was just such an awesome conversation for me! ^~^

I officially changed my name on facebook. It's nice seeing it fixed while I'm browsing, and nobody's batted an eye. Granted, it's just a gender neutral name using my initials, but still! Makes me feel worlds better...

My mom and I were talking about Bruce Jenner and she said she was really glad trans issues were becoming mainstream, and that she's always been supportive of transgender people but it's more important to her now because of me. Most of our conversations about gender are just frustrating so this was really nice to hear :icon_bigg

I passed around some people I met in a night club, one girl was even flirting with me and I even used the man's restroom there and surprisingly, nobody gave me weird looks.

I found out that my mum isn't a transphobe and her friend knows about non-binary identities.

So a few days ago, I got out of the shower and brushed my hair, and I pretty much saw the end of the road of acne for me, and I finally saw myself pretty androgynous. I wasn't quite as cute as I thought, but I know I can eventually pass! A few bumps between then and now, but I know they'll be cleared up in due time. Maybe even in the next couple months!!

My shot days are on Thursdays, and since I'm not sure if we're allowed to discuss dosages here, I won't say; other than I'm going via the subq route (meaning into fat, not muscle).

It felt so liberating to change my name on FB too, and I got the same reaction for the most part.

So my mother recently told my dad I do not like being called "she/her".

Today was out with the family, and dad called me "him". That's the first time a family member ever correctly gendered me, and one step ahead from my mom herself (who "struggles" to call me gender-neutral pronouns)

    Fuck. Yeah.

Got into a spat with a friend and was told I was acting like a douchebag. Odd as it may sound it made me feel pretty good since (in my experience) that's typically an insult reserved for guys.

    That's awesome, NingyoBroken!

I just sent a thank you email to the counselor who sent me a list of trans resources and books, and I signed it using only my chosen name, Michael . My palms were sweating like crazy and my heart skipped a beat when I typed out my name. I'm so freaking proud of myself right now, and I just wanted to document this moment.

Haha, yeah Felix, I think already mentioned this, but it really makes reacting in the supposed "proper" way difficult. I'm glad you were able to find a thick silver lining in the midst of your argument.

Last night before I brushed my teeth I looked in the mirror and told myself I was pretty and a bunch of other nice things to myself. I cried a little bit and went to bed happy for the first time in quite a while.

I might try to do that every night.

I just I talked to my friend, the one who hadn't responded for about a month, and he's supportive. He had forgotten to read it... but I'm so relieved to know that no matter what happens, no matter what I end up figuring out about my gender someone I know in real life has got my back.

(and thanks everyone here for being there for me when he wasn't (*hug*))
