I have posted too much about racial issues recently because of recent events, but I just have one more:

Martin Luther King never condemned rioting. He felt that it was a reasonable reaction to injustice. He merely felt that more would be accomplished in nonviolent protesting was the main process of inciting change. Martin Luther King preached constant and firm retaliations to systems that oppressive government system. Martin Luther King choose non-violence because it went against his personal religious affiliations, especially being a preacher himself. He was also a prominent political figure during his lifetime and, therefore, had an obligation to abide by certain aspects of the system in order to maintain his connections. King was, however, by no means a pacifist.[/B ]You don't have to agree with him on this subject; however, this is something to keep in mind when considering referencing him about recent events. It is also important to remember the Martin Luther King was arrested dozens of times despite being nonviolent and the U.S. Government itself was found guilty of his assassination in the years that followed.

Hmm, a frustrating question: does the suit make the man/woman, or does the man/woman make the suit? Meaning, do some personalities naturally make a person more ambitious and successful, or is it something learned and acquired as they "move up" the ranks? I apparently seem to lack both, but it's still something I think about often... :eusa_doh:
