No class today. The campus was having some kind of faculty meeting.

That worked out actually, because it allowed me more time this morning. Unfortunately, I was looking and smelling good, and it is a shame nobody will get to see that!

I recently developed a strange addiction to Shakespeare. In the past week I read Hamlet, Julius Caeser, a midsummer night dream, Henry V, and much ado about nothing.

Restless, have a lab in 7 hours and I'm running on 3 hours of sleep. Hectic day ahead of me...

I saw Annabelle last night for the first time at a friend's house. I was so freaked out that I actually gained the guts to call my crush because I new she'd make me feel safe. XD Horror movies don't usually freak me out that much. But Annabelle... Good grief. Though, it was actually a really good movie. :O

    THIS IS IMPORTANT.

If you are a member here on EC, then I'm willing to bet you give at least some kind of damn about sexuality and gender. Now...look to the left, right under the little picture thingy we call an avatar. Each member usually has their gender, orientation, out status, etc. written here.

So let's pretend, you've got something like this:

Okay. To me, that looks like someone who identifies as female. Yes? Yes. Futhermore, if I look at UnknownEXampleofROMIS's banner and avatar, all reflecting the feminine values that they apply to themselves, as well as looking through their collection of posts and those posts others have made referring to them...I might be inclined to realize that UnknownEXampleofROMIS is a woman.

Other people are referring to UnknownEXampleofROMIS as a woman. UnknownEXampleofROMIS is referring to themselves as a woman.

How fucking rude and inconsiderate do you have to be to come on here and undermine someone's gender identity by calling them male? I just can't even....I understand that you're apparently cis, but for the love....be more fucking considerate.

I could understand if their gender was like mine..if it was unclear...and in that case, you might even feel like asking, so as not to be rude. But nah....let's just do whatever we want, huh? I might even understand it, if you saw them out on the street or something and weren't specifically aware....BUT IT'S RIGHT THERE UNDER THE AVATAR.

All I'm asking is that we all take the extra time to be aware, so as to avoid any potential pain a careless action or thought could cause.

And if by some chance...I was simply mistaken...maybe there was some mistake somewhere...then okay, whatever. But...the point still stands.

I'm sort of considering looking into an audiologist again. Hearing's getting worse- to the point where everything sounds stifled and plugged up. I have insurance- what's my excuse? Well, finding a decent one of course...

American 80's rockers now: Old looking, maybe balding
Japanese 80's rockers now: Sexy femme guys with bodies sexier than 90% of Japanese girls.

Japanese men age so god damn well. And people say I'm bad for liking older men!
These guys could turn straight guys gay!

But what about Jon Bon Jovi? :frowning2: He may head a crappy band that belongs in Reno but he's still not bad looking for a 50+ year old man.

Also, fuck it. I actually still like Bon Jovi.

It's been just over a week since I bought my ukulele, and I'm already getting a rep as 'the ukulele player.'

Mind it's not having to work five days in themselves I mind, just doing this particular work for that many days in a row, if that makes sense. It's like they're trying to cause a breakdown... Thank you, though.
