Have a library job interview next week. Which is good, however, I don't know what I am going to do if I get it. I have one job that is on average 24 to 30 hours a week, the library will be 20 hours. So that is 2 jobs 50 hours a week and no benefits. I might just take the library job, but I do love my current job, and coworkers. They are awesome, for the most part.

Night 2 of my Brazilian friend's graduation and it's a formal dinner. The venue is absolutely stunning!

That's the problem with America. People skimping on hours. Oh we can't hire you for a full 40 hours. Just for 39.5 hours. With no benefits.

Hope it works out for you.

Thanks, it is hard trying to handle this. I want the job, but I don't want to kill kill myself in the process.

I don't think I've slept as much in my entire life as I have this week.

If only they made that vest in my size, I would have gotten it. I really have to weight twice as much to get all the clothes that I could possibly want :frowning2:.

It's hilarious how much NZ Maori and Inuit from around the Hudson Bay remind me of Mexicans! Imagine traveling to those places, and being mistaken for one of them.

I know the roads will probably be a disaster in the morning, but it's beautiful outside tonight. So peaceful when it's snowing.

I think no one cares what I think, not that I even care at this point.

/thread - My belief that I would never be happy, that I would never find someone, was solidified today by something so miniscule, that is actually quite ridiculous in retrospect.

Good luck with the interview. Really hope it goes well for you and that you get the job. It sounds like it would be a great fit!

Would it be possible to negotiate with your first employer to maybe reduce the hours per week a bit (if you do get it) so that you can do both jobs comfortably? It would also depend on who is paying more, and where the greater career opportunities are in the long term.

May I ask what it was?

I have a habit of sweating the small stuff and letting it get to me myself...
