    I have been contemplating moving out of London and somewhere in the countryside. I am quite done with city life. While I can appreciate not needing the outreach, I would enjoy have some connection close by to the LGBT community.

    Yes, I do. And if you look carefully you would see that where I live marks the exact centre of the universe. It's not just the Midlands but the mideverythings.

    ^ I think it all depends by what you deem as close? 30 mins to me is fine or 60mins to Birmingham isn't far away in my mind :slight_smile:

    I grew up in Derbyshire, which is by far the least middle-of-the-road county of the Midlands. But that's only because a good chunk of it is Northern - the city of Derby is just as shit as anywhere else. Then I moved to Glasgow, which was awesome, but now I'm in Wallonia, which is kinda meh in comparison. I miss the UK. </3
