Usually anime and video game soundtracks. Songs that are evocative of characters and their emotional journeys. The Kingdom Hearts soundtrack, especially.

Ah, it's so hard to name just one song off Ys. I just can't wrap my head around how much this album makes me FEEL.
For me, Only Skin is the piéce de résistance, due to its sheer length and the brilliant intertwining melodic compositions that wander in and out of the story. Never mind the fact that the song is basically the most beautiful descriptions of sexuality I've heard after Björk's Cocoon.
