I just realized a good majority of this forum probably wouldn't have a clue on what I posted above....
I like cheats in moderation, like letting the game still be tough, but having some fun with cheats on the side. I used to break Gta Sa though...
I save like all the time, and abuse the hell out it. When a new game I enjoy comes out I do my best to find exploitable glitches. For example in Skyrim you can reset a Merchants Inventory if you save, kill them then reload as the game thinks they where just respawned it resets there inventory and gold. In Pokemon Red/Blue you could get infinite Items, I would do that then Transfer it to Pokemln Stadium 2 then to Gold/Silver and I would transfer stuff using consoles and handhelds from the first games to the newest ones. On computers Console Commands are fun as hell, also you can convert a pc Save into an Xbox save and have all sorts of fun, like playing as a Dremora in Skyrim on a 360. Set my level to 6000 on a Skyrim save just so I could show a friend and qoute DBZ, "Its over 5000" Im weird ok....
I save every 3 seconds and probably spend more time loading my last save than playing between loadings... I just like to be able to play the "perfect" way a certain scene...
I've only looked for cheats (for Sim City 4) if my mission was to create something absolutely extraordinary, like a city with 2 million people (I only got to 883,000 though)
Depends on the game. If it's something crazy and nonsensical like GTA then heck yeah. Multiplayer games, or something like Dark Souls? Nope, ruins the fun.
Nothing gets me tired with a game faster than a good old cheat code. So, if I sense that I'm getting hopelessly addicted, cheats might be the way to go.
I've watched a walkthrough on the Impossible Quiz (online flash game) before and used a cheat on the Sims 3 to change a sim's character traits. In other words, yes. But they're just games and not school tests, so I honestly don't regret it that much.
Is it sad that I remember these? If I'm right it was DOOM? IDKFA= guns always remembered it as I Do Kick F@#%ing Ass Iddqd = god mode Don't know the menu one
I don't cheat! I'll look at a Walk-through if I'm really stuck, but as a rule I don't like doing that either. Having said that, I did use Action Replay when I was younger to get Mew for Pokemon Blue. :icon_wink There was no way I could get him any other way! He was too cute to resist.
