Coffee. Has more caffeine and less sugar than any of the major brands, and can even contain calcium and protein if drunk with milk. Since having bariatric surgery, I've been unable to drink carbonated drinks, so I can't drink them if I wanted to. ---------- Post added 9th Oct 2014 at 10:42 AM ---------- I'll take the crab juice
I'm completely addicted to Red Bull. Although I also really like Rockstars. More flavour variety with those.
Do Gatorade and coffee count? After weights class, I usually drink some water or Gatorade to get my energy back. I'm not exactly fond of coffee, but I'm willing to drink it black. Oh, and tea's okay as long as there's nothing else in it.
I drink whatever is cheap. Monster, usually, since five bucks can get me twice as much Monster as Red Bull. Though, sometimes, mom buys me this NOZ stuff, it's blue. It's okay, but it's kinda gummy.
Gotta have about 3 or 4 cups of my morning coffee ever since I started working real full time jobs out of high school. Like spraying a shot of starting fluid down the air intake of an engine that doesn't want to start.
I like monster the best taste-wise, but lately I've been drinking this cheap kind called rip-it. They're cheap, but strong enough to win out over my caffiene tolerance. It's a win-win situation for this broke college kid.
I used to love Monster drinks, both for the taste and the "kick." However, I can't hardly stand to drink it anymore because it started making me feel sick. I would get dizzy, confused and nauseous. I am not sure why this is, but it turned me off of energy drinks. I stick to coffee now.
Pepsi Max or Diet Mountain Dew ---------- Post added 9th Oct 2014 at 06:47 PM ---------- YES!!!! Love this video (and its sequel)!
The only energy drink I've tried is Rockstar, it didn't really affect me. I still want to try Monster, I hear it's pretty intense but I don't plan on drinking it regularly, just curious as to what it tastes like.
Energy drinks are dangerous. They landed me in the hospital and forced me on beta blockers. My drink of choice back in the day was Rip It. Honestly, the stuff rotted my teeth and had my heart thumping. It dehydrates you. Not saying it is safe, but I'd say stick to a little Mt. Dew or coffee than recommend any friend get into Red Bull, Rockstar, Rip It, or Monster. I did all 4, and they are like drugs to me.
