My all time favourite movie has to be Mr Nobody, this obscure 2009 indie movie starring Jared Leto that is really complicated but will blow your mind. Other favourites are Inception (I really like movies that make you think okay), The Lion King, The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.

One my new husband introduced me to a few years ago, earlier in our relationship:

    Big Eden

I think he sought to know and understand me better by seeing how I would react to it. I recall shedding some tears... but then I'm apt to cry when seeing something as beautiful as this (need a "smiling through tears" emoticon here)

My favorites are: Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Lionk King, We Are Marshal, and Remember The Titans. Almost all of them are 10/10 for me. If not, then a 9/10. For sure

Stardust - A modern (in terms of creation, yet still set in a romantic and bygone age), and perfectly executed fairy tale.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium - This movie. Good gravy, this movie! It makes everyone believe in magic. The very best kind of magic comes from within, as Molly Mahoney learns. Plus it has Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman. And is rife with alliteration. This movie was made for people like me.

Eloise at Christmastime - In my house it is not Christmas until we've watched this movie at least 30 times. It's a tradition, and not in the antiquated sense that one feels obliged to carry on despite the lack of joy it brings us, but one that warms my heart (or would if I had one) year after year.

A good amount of my other favorites have been listed above, so I won't wax rhapsodic about things that have already been discussed.
