So I was randomly thinking today how my attractions to different parts of the human body vary from gender to gender. I came to the conclusion that while there are certain parts I have a slight preference in one gender over the other, the only definitive preference for me was with faces. For whatever reason, I strongly prefer men's faces to women's. That made no sense to me really - all things balanced out, I'm pretty much 50-50 in terms of level of bisexuality. Why should the face be so skewed when nothing else is? Anyhow, I thought to myself that I might pose it here. Obviously I'd be most intrigued by 50-50 bisexual answers - but if a gay or straight person actually preferred the opposite or same gender (respectively), that would also be intriguing!
Well I'm gay, so I'm a little biased here, but definitely the male face. The perfect male face to me is one with a chiseled jaw line, definite jaw bones, and sexy lips! God, I'm melting just thinking about it
I'm assuming that this is talking about aesthetic preference. Anyway, for this I would say that both are just about equal. In a sexual way, I'd have to go with the male face. (Again another biased person...)
Even though I am definitely more attracted to guys at this point in my life, I would say 50-50 on faces. Interesting question. I do happen to like long legs(or legs in general) on a girl better than guys though, but I think that is because of my dislike for a lot of body hair. Like a perfect 10 girl is most likely to have cuter legs than a perfect 10 guy. Now once you get up to hips and butts, it definitely goes back to guys for me.
Definitely women. There's just something about softness and femininity that I find a lot more pleasing to the eye. I've noticed that most of the men I'm attracted to tend to be more androgynous in nature, with a few exceptions.
Even though I am 100% gay, I will mention that sometimes when I come across a guy who still has short hair and everything (i.e. is unmistakably a guy, not androgynous) but has some feminine features like softer angles and fuller lips, I often find that the most attractive of all
I think I voted the wrong thing. Sorry. I prefer men, but I'm actually more attracted towards androgynous or effeminate male faces. In terms of body, though, definitely men. EDIT: Okay, I can't really decide. There will be an occasional woman who really catches my eye, so...
Hey, I consider myself split 50-50 between attractions to men and women, but I do think that the most aesthetically pleasing faces are usually found on women. It's a specific type of face, I like round feminine faces, with a short haircut.
Both, it depends on a person to person basis really. There are features from each gender that I do like and look for though.
Agreed! Though, one time I saw this really attractive guy from afar in one class hall--he had very feminine features, soft blemish-free face, full lips, despite having short hair and wearing ostensible men's clothing. He was one of the cutest guys I had ever seen. Or so I thought. I got closer and soon saw that she had breasts and then I heard her friend call her "Melissa". Going by stereotypes alone, maybe she was a lesbian >.<
I find guys' faces more sexy and strong and make me want to melt, while gals' more beautiful and graceful.
Well, I prefer men physically, but from an objective standpoint I don't hunk anything can compare with the face of a beautiful woman. Except my crush, but he is the most handsome person who has ever lived.
