Hi all, I personally don't know that many Lana Del Rey lovers. Does anyone here like her music? If so, which is your favorite song? :icon_bigg
I'm not a fan, but i really like her music. And by the way my favorite music is "Summertime Sadness". Is not because the song is popular, i just have a big connection with it. The song explains how you love someone so hard that you can let him/her go. Because you know is the best for that person. And the song makes it clear, that when you love somebody, you make what you need, not what you want. I also love "Ride","Blue Jeans","Born To Die" and "Video Games" (which was the first Lanas' song that i listen to)
Thanks for the reply. I love her new album too. You should listen to it if you get a chance. In that album I like Shades of Blue, Brooklyn Baby, and Black Beauty. Of her first album, there are so many great ones to choose from. I went through stages of listening to particular songs repeatedly. Off to the Races is my ringtone and Million Dollar Man is awesome.
I used to not really care about her. I started to like her, thanks to my uncle in New York who is a restaurant and nightclub designer. He likes to use cool music to go along with the flow of the places that he designs, and he told me that he likes to use Lana Del Rey a lot due to her amazing voice and catchy songs. So, I became a fan from constantly listening to her music along with my uncle .
I LOVE her tone & how atmospheric her music feels (her original music..not that HORRIFIC remix of summertime sadness they play in clubs) I've started to appreciate her more recently. *but I can't forgive her & whoever made her butcher the Seeeping Beauty song 'Once upon a dream' in MAleficient lol..but again it was very atmospheric*
YES. My favorites are National Anthem and Ride but really, they're all pretty great. Wonder if she's good live!
I love her music. She's one of my favourite singers. Some of my favourite songs are Blue Jeans, Video Games, Ride, Summertime Sadness, Cruel World, Born to Die... I have her albums "Born to Die (The Paradise Edition)" and "Ultraviolence". I think both albums are awesome, but I have to listen to the second one more times.
It's crazy. There's alot of "Ride" love but the funny thing is that I've not heard it yet. I totally missed out on the Dark Paradise addition to the Born to Die album. So apparently, I shouldn't call myself a true fan I'll need to listen to her other works.
"Ride" is awesome. It's a very beautiful song. She's made an excellent cover of "Blue Velvet" too. It's a bit short, but it's great. ---------- Post added 14th Aug 2014 at 10:47 PM ---------- I totally agree.
