The topic came up today during our men's group while we were discussing prostitution. I was kind of shocked that several of the guys had been with well over 300 guys in their life. You do not need to post on this thread. Votes alone are ok. I realize it is a sensitive topic. All votes are private.
Er, I voted in 1-4 (for 1, or maybe 2 depending upon one's definition), but I'm reticent to even say that since the word "partner" feels to me like it has connotations of something beyond a casual encounter or non-serious dating.
12 if I got my count right. I don't always remember everyone, but I ran through it a couple of times to be sure. For clarity, I'm defining 'partner' in this context as anyone I did stuff with that resulted in orgasms, with both of us being in the same room. If we include phone based encounters at various times in my life, then the number goes up a lot, but I have no idea how much. A good friend of mine, who was also sort of my mentor when I was coming out always claimed to have been with hundreds of guys and I have no reason to doubt that. He eventually tired of that and settled down in a committed closed relationship. The terminology has changed over the years, but for this discussion, I'm just using partner in the 'traditional' sense instead of the more recent usage implying a committed relationship such as what I'm in now. I'd actually like to randomly point out, considering the hook-up culture today, 300 people is probably just as typical amongst some straight people as it is for any queer person. I mean, in either case I imagine it's nearing the upper 10% or so, but it's not unheard of for any sexuality.
8 women and more men than I generally admit to in polite conversation--I'm not going to answer the poll until it fills out a bit because at the moment if I did you could peg my post to an answer out there by itself on the poll results.
usually gay guys have it with both.so number would be high ---------- Post added 20th Jul 2014 at 05:54 AM ---------- what about the no; of women they have been with?can you ask
Nope - never had sex with a woman, never had any desire to do so. My partner did once or twice before he figured out he was gay and pretty much described his reaction as 'That's it? That's all there is to this? How can anyone find this all that exciting?'. On a somewhat different note, you seem to attempting to spam the forum with repetitious posts and are starting to annoy people. You also may or may not be posting on here under two different names. Regardless, this is likely to either come to the negative attention of the moderators just on its own or someone will report you, with much the same results. Either way, you need to cool it. Either that, or actually post links to whatever source of information you are using to support your claim. That 'anti-gay people' told you something is meaningless. The views and beliefs of anti-gay people are generally infinitely worthless noise. In fact, even if you can come up with some reference link you need to limit this topic to a single thread and stop spamming the forum. Or else you'll end up dealing with the staff. Todd
Three. One used to be my best friend, one was my brothers friend and one was just messing around with a friend. The first one lasted longest.
I am including male and female partners. It must be physical contact not phone sex. It doesn't have to be all the way. Mutual masturbation and anything past counts. And I certainly never insinuated that gay guys would have sex with both genders, so yeah...
Voted 11 - 20. Do one-night-stands and friends+ count? That would raise the number by quite a bit.
By one's definition of 'partner' meaning anything beyond an encounter e.g. relationship, just one. In hindsight, my 'relationship' can go under the encounter category also. If we're talking about partner meaning a simple encounter, than three.
