I can play by ear on the piano ---------- Post added 29th Jun 2014 at 12:55 PM ---------- Wait, what kid of uke do you have?? ---------- Post added 29th Jun 2014 at 01:10 PM ---------- I tried a Peruvian ocarina which is pretty epic and easy too. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO LEARN THE MANDOLIN THOUGH. Is it easy like the ukulele?
I'm a drummer, and a guitarist. I can play the bass and ukulele as well, though not nearly as the former two (guitar for nearly seven years now, drums, three/four).
Played the clarinet and the piano. Haven't played the clarinet since high school. Have been playing the piano off and on. Trying to start practicing again...
I play alto, tenor and baritone saxophone (really want to try soprano too!). I also play a little bit of bass and learning sousaphone.
oh gosh, all the other oboists i've met have been super intense and always practicing and what not... i assure you, i am not like that  ---------- Post added 4th Jul 2014 at 09:08 AM ---------- ooh, i've always wanted to try a sousaphone!
I played the cornet for about 4 years and now I play the trombone which is great fun in the orchestra! I also play a bit of piano which is nice
I play piano. Only classical music, cuz that's the stuff I like best. I love Scarlatti, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Ravel and others. Used to play pipe organ - not theatre organs, but the kind found in churches and concert halls. In a way, that's still my favorite instrument. There's absolutely nothing like the sound of a big organ in the hands (and feet) of a master. They don't call it the King of Instruments for nothing! Alas, I can't get one into my home. ;-)
I play guitar, bass, and I mess around with drums, keyboard, tin whistle, harmonica, and percussion. I also program drum beats, soft synths (MIDI programming and scoring), sampling, DJing, etc. I have been occasionally known to sing, rap, and even more rarely to do some scream-like vocals. Although I was raised on hip-hop and punk, I also like all sorts of music and have played all sorts. I've always gravitated toward really good hip-hop (none of this Niki Minaj shit, but like Lauryn Hill and stuff--ya know, good rap) and punk/emo/post-hardcore bands with awesome female vocalists... Sort of wishing I had a voice more like theirs.
I've never met another oboist before, haha. I'm neither super intense nor did I practice a lot, although I do miss playing. I even miss the frustrating moments when I simply couldn't get the pitch right, and I only could play high D, which is sad. LOL. I could play low B flat, though. Good times.
I wanna see! Piano since 5 Guitar Mandolin Been trying to pick up vio In the future either the double bass or cello or zhong-hu
I play the clarinet x.x Tried to teach myself he piano, that failed. I really want to learn the violin though. It sounds so pretty!
