    It's not true. At most you will lose like 0.5 to 1 gram of protein per ejaculation, which is like.. a quarter of a teaspoon of peanut butter. Completely insignificant.

    Agreed. I'm not sure where this notion originates, and others like it, such as masturbating will 'drain you of energy' and such. There's no proof at all to these claims, and they seem the irrational product of a society with puritanical roots still casting shadows of guilt over the sexual.

    If you feel it's beneficial, fine, but I've seen no medical evidence that any benefit exists. I suppose if you did it 20 times a day, that would be different, but that's an entirely different issue.

    I don't do it because it makes me feel guilty/dirty/less innocent. Plus, I don't see what's so pleasurable about it. It's boring.
